"The red trainer only has one Pokemon left while the green trainer, the very popular newcomer Zia Braxs, still has only used one! Let's see what the red trainer sends out." The announcer said as Zia battled in the second round on the ice field.

She was using Sky this time and they had already defeated two of the opponent's Pokemon. "Go, Nidorina!" Her opponent called as he released a Pokemon that was blue in color that sat on four legs, spikes all around its body.

Nidorina: The Poison Pin Pokemon
The female's horn developed slowly. Prefers physical attacks such as clawing and biting.

"Go for a bite!" The red trainer ordered as his Pokemon charged. Zia and her Luxray stayed calm, not fazed at all. "Wait for it, Sky." Zia told her as the electric-type stood stock still. The Nidorina kept running before it got close enough for Zia's plan.

"Jump." The white haired girl said simply as Sky jumped over the still charging poison-type. As the Nidorina noticed, it was to late to slow down as it slid on the slippery ice and crashed into the ice rock Sky was previously standing in front of.

The Nidorina slid down to the ground, having fainted. "Nidorina in unable to battle! Zia and Luxray have won their second round of the Pokemon League Competiton!" The ref called as Zia took a breath, happy that worked as well as it did. The crowd cheered loudly as she climbed down from the trainer's box.

"Good job Zia, Sky." KC said as he handed the girl Kaida as he picked up Kirlia. "Thanks, but Sky did all the hard work." She said and pet the Luxray as they walked out of the stadium. Zia's and Ash's matches were too close together today, so only KC came to watch her, which she was fine with.

They walked towards the Pokemon center so Zia could get Sky checked up on. However, they had stopped to eat and by the time they were done, it was pretty much night time. "I knew I shouldn't have ordered that mega burrito." KC groaned as he slumped over as they walked.

Kirlia was on Sky's back so she wouldn't have to worry about being dropped. "Then why'd you do it?" Zia asked as she sighed. "It looked amazing! Tasted great too. The only problem was the after effects." He argued as he held his stomach. "I could imagine. You were in that bathroom for a good hour, KC." Zia rolled her eyes.

"Oh, there's the Pokemon center!" Emmy suddenly shouted, getting their attention. They looked in front of them to see the building, but it was packed to the brim, and overflowing, with other trainers. Zia noticed Misty, Brock, and Ash standing off to the side and went over to them, followed by the others.

"Hey guys! What's happening?" She asked as they noticed her. "I have no clue, we just came to heal my Pokemon." Ash answered. "Did you win?" KC asked him. "Of course I did!" He said proudly with a goofy grin. "What about you, Zia?" Brock asked the girl.

"I won as well." She said with a smile as Kaida cheered happily. "More like demolished the competition. She only used Sky and by the time it was over, Sky still wasn't tired. She barely attacked, thanks to Zia's quick thinking and great strategies." KC added on.

Zia blushed and looked away as the other three stared at her in awe. "It wasn't anything special." She mumbled. "May I have your attention, please? Due to the Pokemon League Competition, this center is now completely full. If your Pokemon need emergency care, please take them to the nearest Pokemon center." Nurse Joy announced as she stood at the front of the crowd with a megaphone.

"Ah! That's the Pewter City Nurse Joy." Brock drooled. They ignored him and went to look for another Pokemon center. "There's gotta be one around here somewhere." Ash muttered as he looked through a Pokemon trainer's guide book.
