Chapter 81: Forcing A Heat

Hey everyone! Omg... I haven't updated this since November! This chapter is sort of long though so I hope that makes up for it even the tiniest bit ;;

Taehyung stared at Jungkook's hands as he adjusted the fur he had just placed on his shoulders. He glanced up at the alpha and smiled, earning a soft smile in return.

"There. You're all set." Jungkook said, cupping Taehyung's face endearingly.

"Thank you, alpha." Taehyung responded through squished cheeks.

Jungkook snorted, before placing a light peck to Taehyung's nose. "I'm going to check if Hobi's ready."

Taehyung nodded and watched Jungkook head outside. Namjoon and Yoongi had been talking with Hoseok, and Taehyung suspected it had something to do with them forcing his heat.

"Tae, hurry and come sit with us before you leave!" Jimin urged and patted the space between him and Jin. Taehyung grinned, and skipped his way over to the two omegas.

"Are you nervous?" Jimin asked, nuzzling into his shoulder adorned by the fur.

"I guess you could say that... I'm just... Really, really happy we're doing this." Taehyung admitted as color rose to his cheeks. "Everyone has a mate in our pack, but I'm the only one who doesn't and it feels like I'm the outcastー not that I blame any of you for itー but... I just can't wait to become closer to Hobi and Jungkookie. So even though I might be scared, right now, I feel more excitement than anything."

Jin rested his head on Taehyung's other shoulder. "That's good. Hobi and Jungkook will feel more at ease if you're not scared or nervous about the whole thing." He mumbled thoughtfully.

Jimin had to agree. They had all waited restlessly for the storm to pass, until Namjoon had kindly asked them if they would like him to help them sleep. They had seen no end in sight for the storm, so of course they had agreed.

The den still lingered with Namjoon's alpha scent that had lulled them to sleep within minutes. Jimin guessed that they had slept for a good five or six hours, and he couldn't help but swoon at the fact that the alphas had taken care of the pups during that time.

They truly had such caring and capable alphas.

"I heard Yoongi and Namjoon talking about you." He confessed softly. Taehyung went rigid, but Jimin soothed him with a kiss to the cheek. "They were just worried. They don't want you to push yourself, and I know Yoongi is still a bit anxious about your decision, but they're happy for you three. I overheard them when I woke up."

Taehyung grinned, touched by the fact that Namjoon and Yoongi were so worried for him, yet trusted his decision. He glanced at his pups that were cooing and fussing on the other side of the den. "I'm going to miss them so much." He murmured sadly. He's had his pups in his arms every day, and suddenly he was going to be away from them for a week, possibly longer.

Jin stroked Taehyung's head while nodding understandingly. "I know you feel sad about leaving them, but having a full mating bond will be good for all of you." He said with a warm smile.

Taehyung's eyes travelled down to Jin's neck, where one side was scarred from his mating bite being torn off. Then he glanced to the other side. The bite smelled like Namjoon, and he couldn't help but feel excited. Jin was right, it would be hard leaving his pups, but it would be worth it.

"Tae! Are you ready to go?" Jungkook questioned as he came back into the den.

Taehyung nodded, but before he could stand up, Jimin and Jin pulled him into a group hug.
