"Her test results are back, Mr. Moody. Ms. Argent does, in fact, possess magical properties. I have notified the ministry." The healer said. I looked up. So, it's true then, I am a witch.

"Excellent. Let's go," Moody said to me before starting to walk away.

It took me a moment for it to process that he was leaving before I jumped up and ran after him. "I'm a witch."

He nodded, "It seems you are." We were quiet for the rest of the walk home. We could've apparated, but I feel like we both needed to think, so walking it is.

"You can't tell anyone that you're a werewolf... unless you completely trust them"

"Why? Wizards are supernatural, why can't they know?"

"The wizarding community isn't really welcoming when it comes to lycanthropy. There's laws, anti-werewolf laws, and they're not very nice,"

I frowned. "Don't they know that lycanthropy isn't a choice? You're either born with it, or you were bitten... most of the time, not willingly. I know I wasn't"

"I know that I know many werewolves. Some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, but the influential families. They..."

"They don't like us, and they're prejudice," I finished.

He nodded, his face grim, "Exactly" He said. I looked down sadly, "You'll be going to Hogwarts in the next school year," He said.

I looked at him, confused, "Isn't too late for me to start?" Didn't he say they started learning at 11?

"I'll talk to Dumbledore. In the meantime, we should probably get your wand," Was all he said. I perked up. My wand? Without realizing, a grin overtook my features, "I had the same look on my face when I got my first wand as well" I grimaced. I couldn't imagine Moody as a child... When I tried to picture it, all I saw was a dwarf version of the present moody, with the fake eye, the limp and the cane included just running around yelling "Constant Vigilance!". Not a pretty picture, but a funny one.

"Come on, it'll be faster if we apparate," He said. I groaned. I hate apparating, I always end up puking, or feeling nauseous for hours, "Oh, quit your whining" He grabbed my arm and suddenly, I was being sucked in a tube. When the feeling lifted, I ran to the nearest garbage can and puked my lunch out.

A tissue appeared in front of me. I looked up and saw a kind-looking, red-haired woman. "I was the same when I first started apparating. You'll get used to it, dear," She said. I smiled weakly and took the tissue. She gave me a pat on the back and walked away. Wiping my mouth, I remembered the mints in my pocket. I walked back over to Moody and glared at him.

"You're an evil man,"

I could've sworn I saw his mouth curve upwards, but as fast as it appeared, it left, "The worst. Now let's go. We don't have all day" He said, already limping away. I followed him to a shabby looking shop that read Ollivander's up top. We walked in, and I immediately coughed. It was so dusty!

"Ollivander!" Moody called out.

"One second!" I heard from somewhere in the very back of the store.

A man came to the front sliding on a ladder, "Alastor Moody. Didn't think I'd ever see you again" He said eyeing my guardian. His eyes shifted to me, and he smiled, "And who is this young lady?" His smile was strangely calming and welcoming.

"Daniella Argent, sir" I introduced myself

"Ah, young Carla Argent's daughter. I remember the wand I sold her. 14-inch, larch wood with unicorn hair and very rigid. I thought I might get a visit from you soon,"
