"Y/n, the boss wants to see you in his office" my co-worker told me.

I froze.

What if he wants to fire me?!

I'm an angel, and I'm guessing that you can tell that "the boss" is god.

I walked into the bosses office and saw that he was very happy. More happy than he usually is.

"Hey boss, what's up?" I asked.

"Hey, there's my favorite angel. How are you doing?" He asked in a happy tone.

I looked at him with a raised eyebrow and said "I'm good"

"Well, your day is about to be even better because, I am sending you to earth" he said with a smile.

I stared at him for a minute, I was at loss of words.

"Y-you want t-to send me to e-earth?!" I stuttered.

He grinned and nodded.

"Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh!! I'M GOING TO EARTH!!!" I yelled.

"Okay okay, calm down there. Now there's a reason why you're going down there. The gates of hell have opened. The fallen Angel has escaped. I need you to retrieve him and bring him back to hell" he said.

I stared at him blankly.

"So...you're saying that, you want me to go down to earth to capture the devil and bring him back to hell?!" I yelled.

"Yes! Keep it down, I don't want the others to freak out because the devil is out of his cage" he replied.

I thought about it for a minute.

Can I really do this? I mean, it's the literal devil. Does God really have that much trust in me?! Well, I can't let him down

"Okay. I'll do it" I said with confidence.

"Great" he said happily and clapped his hands together.

             *On Earth*

I gasped as I looked around the gorgeous city of Los Angelos.

This place is amazing!

Okay okay, I need to stay on track here.

So, boss said that he is driving a 1962 black Chevy Corvette, I'm sure it won't be that hard to find an old car like that.

As soon as I thought that, I heard very loud music playing.

Specifically "Ain't no rest for the wicked" by Cage The Elephant.
