3rd Person POV

Corbyn wakes up in the morning to a pounding head, and an unruly stomach.

He groans, as the sunlight practically blinds him, causing his head to throb.

Corbyn knows he's sick, but he also knows it's an off day for the boys, and he doesn't want to ruin it.

So he decides to just go back to sleep.

But after 10 minutes, he finally accepts the fact that sleep is not an option for his condition.

Corbyn hears the boys laughing and joking downstairs which brings a small smile to his face.

He shivers, realizing how cold he is.

Corbyn crawls under his comforter, grabbing his small trash can, in case he throws up.

He suppresses a gag, not really wanting to throw up.

But he does anyway, twice.

Corbyn lays back down on his bed, setting the half full trash can back down.

Suddenly, Jonah comes into the room to Getz Corbyn up for breakfast.

"Corbs, come on. We're going to IHOP", Jonah says.

Corbyn just turns over on his side.

"I'm not hungry. I'll just stay here", Corbyn says, he is face half buried into his pillow.

"You sure? Are you fee-", Jonah stops mid-sentence.

"Oh my god. What smells so bad in here?", Jonah asks scrunching his nose.

Corbyn knows he's smelling his vomit.

"Just some bad laundry. Haven't had time to do it", Corbyn says, almost wincing at his headache.

"Ok. Well please, for my sanity do some laundry", Jonah says with a laugh.

"Will do", Corbyn says before Jonah exits the room.

Jonah leaves the room not really thinking twice about anything.

But maybe he should've thought twice.

Jonah's POV

"Thank you", I said to the young waitress.

We just ordered our food, and we're eager to receive it.

"So wait, why did Corbs not wanna come again?", Zach asks.

"He said he wasn't hungry. I think he went back to sleep", I tell him.

"That's really unlike him. Do you think he's sick?", Daniel asks.

"He just seemed tired, but he may be", I say.

Everyone nods and looks back at their phones.

I have to say, I'm a little worried about him.

I'm the oldest so I have to be the responsible one.

It really is out of character for Corbyn not to be hungry.

And maybe he is sick, and home all alone.

A few minutes later our food arrives, and we dig in.

Halfway through eating my second pancake, my phone vibrates from a text.

I look on my phone screen and realize it's from Corbyn.

My eyes widen reading it.

"Guys, we have to go now", I say in panic.

Everyone looks up from their food and glances at me.

"Corbyn just texted me, and I think it's an emergency", I say.

Everyone looks in shock, and waits for me to say something else.

I dig into my pocket and place two twenty dollar bills on the table.

As we're running out the door, Jack asks, "What did the text say".

I look at him.

"Help me", I simply reply.

3rd Person POV

Jonah rushes down the roads and highways, probably breaking more than enough laws.

He knew he should slow down, but all he could think about is how Corbyn needed their help.

Eventually, they arrived at the house, and Jonah bursts through the door.

"Corbyn! Corbyn!", he yells.

He's nowhere to be seen downstairs.

Jonah runs upstairs followed by the other boys, almost tripping over himself.

And there's Corbyn, in the middle of the hallway, his knees tucked to his chest, and his ears plugged.

"Corbyn? Hey, what's wrong", Jonah asks in a comforting tone.

"They won't stop", Corbyn says in a whispering voice.

"What?", Jonah says.

"The voices won't stop talking", Corbyn says rocking back and forth.

"What's going on with him?", Zach asks in a worrisome tone.

Jonah places a hand on Corbyn's forehead.

"Zach, go start a cold bath now", Jonah says.

"But w-", he's cut short.

"Just go", Jonah demands.

Zach rushes off to the bathroom, and turns the faucet on a low temperature.

"What's wrong with him?", Jack asks biting his nails.

"He has a really bad fever. I think he's hallucinating", Jonah replies in a quiet tone.

Jack and Daniel look at each other.

Jonah picks Corbyn up and realizes he's shivering.

He carries him to the bathroom, and they strip him down to his boxers.

"Make then stop", Corbyn says.

"I know bud", Jonah says holding him.

Zach turns the faucet off once the bath is full, and Jonah places Corbyn inside.

Corbyn immediately jumps out feeling the cold water, but Jonah pushes him back in.

Zach exits the bathroom, not able to see his bandmate in pain.

Corbyn begins to cry once he stops hallucinating, and realizes how sick he feels, and how cold the water is.

"Get me out Jo", Corbyn says through chattering teeth.

"Not until your temperature goes down Corbs", he says in response.

So they sat there and waited.

Corbyn squeezed Jonah's hand and tried to relax.

If only Jonah would've thought twice.

A few hours later...

"Why didn't you tell us you felt sick bud?", Jonah asks Corbyn, who's now laying on the couch with a blanket and a trash can.

"I knew this was an off day, and I didn't want to ruin it", Corbyn admits.

Corbyn then throws up into the trash can again, then begins shaking and crying.

"You could never ruin an off day because you're sick. It just matters to us that you're healthy", Jonah says stroking Corbyn's hair.

Corbyn throws up again, and lets out a quiet whimper.

"I know it hurts bud. Just let it all out", Jonah says rubbing Corbyn's back.

After vomiting for a third time, Corbyn lays back onto the couch.

"Thanks Jonah", Corbyn says.

"No problem".
