"Zach, put on your helmet", Jonah says.

"I don't need it Jonah. God, you don't make Jack wear a helmet", Zach snaps back.

The boys had gone to the skatepark that day, and Zach was just about to go down the ramp.

"Zach, you-, he- I, that's different okay", Jonah stutters.

Zach shakes his head, and goes down the ramp steadily.

Each time he goes back and forth, Jonah watches him, a concerned look on his face.

He doesn't fall once, just like he suspected he would.

When the boys went home, Zach was silent the whole time.

He was so sick of being babied, even if he was the youngest of the group.

Zach was so tired of being told what to do, and not feeling like he could do stuff on his own.

It was exhausting, having to listen to everyone else, and he hated it.

All Zach wanted was to be an adult.

That's what he thought being 18 meant.

But he was wrong.

Present time...

General POV

The boys are all scattering around the house, getting ready to go to a photo shoot.

The mornings were usually hectic, so the boys were used to it.

"Zach!", Corbyn calls from downstairs.

Zach rolls his eyes in annoyance.

"Yeah!", he yells back.

Corbyn runs up the stairs towards Zach, as Zach looks at his hair in the mirror.

"You ready?", he asks, reaching Zach's room.

"Yes. Why wouldn't I be", he replies.

"You sure? Teeth brushed, hair done, b-"

"Oh my god, I said I'm sure", Zach says looking into Corbyn's eyes.

Corbyn nods, and heads back downstairs.

"We're leaving in 20", he says quickly.

Zach sits down on his bed, and sighs.

He hates snapping at the boys, but they don't understand how frustrating it is to be treated like he is.

Zach doesn't want to be nice about it, but he also doesn't like to lose it.

He stands up and takes a deep breath through his nose, and goes downstairs to get some breakfast.

The boys are all sitting down, on their phones or talking.

"Morning", Zach simply says, grabbing a protein bar from the cabinet.

"Morning", the boys reply out of sync.

Zach sits and eats his breakfast, looking back at the other boys every now and then.

"Let's go", Jonah says indicating to the boys that their Uber's here.

They all stand up and put their phones in their pocket.

Jonah sits in the passengers seat, while Zach and Jack sit in the third row, then Daniel and Corbyn sit in the second.

The whole car ride was pretty silent.
