Corbyn's POV

Since I was a kid, Epilepsy has always been challenging.

I've had it since I was 6, and it hasn't gotten better, but rather worse.

I remember one time specifically when I was 12.

I was at my baseball game, my bat in hand ready to swing.

The next thing I know, I wake up on the ground with a headache, and people crowding me.

That was the first time I had to switch medications since I was ten.

Now, at 20, I was just put on a new one.

My old one wasn't working right, but honestly, I'm sure this one isn't either.

I've been getting bad headaches, and it's just a matter of time before I have a seizure.

Jonah's the one that takes me to my appointments, and every time I'm put on a new medication, he sleeps on my floor in my bedroom.

He honestly worries too much, but I couldn't be more grateful.

Let's just hope that this medication has some effect.

If any at all.

At dinner...

(The rest of this chapter is in General POV.)

"How's the food?", Jonah asks everyone.

"Great", Zach says, his mouth full of chow mein.

"Yeah, really it's good", Corbyn agreed as Jack and Daniel nod.

"How are your meds working Corbyn?", Jonah asks hesitantly.

"They're going okay. I hav-haven't had had", Corbyn stops.

The boys all look up in concern.

Corbyn's eyes are staring at nothing, his face wiped of emotion.

"He's having an absence seizure", Jonah says standing up and putting his napkin down.

Jonah kneels next to Corbyn, and puts a gentle hand on his leg.

"Corbyn? Corbyn?", he repeats for about ten seconds.

Corbyn suddenly blinks and swallows harshly.

"You okay?", Jonah asks.

"I uhh-I", Corbyn stops and starts staring again.

"It's gonna be a cluster of them. We just have to wait it out and keep talking to him", Jonah says.

Corbyn has multiple ten second seizures for about three minutes straight.

Finally the last one ends, and Corbyn speaks.

"Corbyn?", Jonah asks one more time.

"Y-Yeah?", he replies.

"Do you know what just happened? Could you hear me?" Jonah asks.

"I-I don't remember", he simply replies.

"That's okay. Do you still have an appetite?", Jonah says comfortingly.

"Not re-really", Corbyn says.

"Well then I think you should get to bed. I'll call and make you an appointment for tomorrow morning.", Jonah says.
