The remnants of Remnant

The parade ends and YN, his family, RWBY and Pyrrha, and his court with their families return to the White Palace. (YN's court referring to Moss, Grey, and Gangele) If you are thinking that I am referring to a judicial court I am not. I am referring to the medieval court, the definition that follows is taken from the Encyclopedia Britannica, "In European medieval history, a court, or group of persons who attended a ruler at any given time for social, political, or judicial purposes." Now that that is covered, let's continue.
They arrive at the White Palace and they go into their respective residences. YN's court goes to their mansions that are on the grounds of the White Palace, YN, Emily, Benedict, RWBY, and Pyrrha go to their apartments in the White Palace. The apartments of RWBY and Pyrrha are about four thousand square feet and they have nice tall ceilings. Depending on what the person in question likes it is arranged to their liking. Ruby and Yang's are more modern, like that of a penthouse. Blake's is also modern but it is much more humble. The apartments of Weiss and Pyrrha are in the much more traditional style, the one that matches the rest of the White Palace.

YN then summoned his court to the Planetarische Oberkommando, Planetary High Command.

YN: We are now going to take Vacuo. They have less than one hundred thousand soldiers, one thousand armored vehicles, and five hundred aircraft.

Moss: May I request that my personal unit, Angriffsgruppe rot (Assault Group Red) be allowed to start. We have enough power to take Vacuo and deliver it at your feet within the month.

Gangele: Not to undermine High Lord Inquisitor Moss in any way, but can my unit, Angriffsgruppe Schwert (Assault Group Sword) be allowed to participate.

Grey: With all due respect to High Lord Inquisitor Moss my unit, Angriffsgruppe Speer (Assault Group Spear) is the largest, It should be the one to take Vacuo.

Moss: With all due respect to you, Commander Grey, I have four hundred Adeptus Astartes, with their transports, under my command while you have none.

Grey: I have more than enough to take Vacuo!

Gangle: I mean no transgression towards you Commander Grey, but a human is no equal to an Astartes.

Grey: You are just the Emperor's pet project you aren't even supposed to be in the Planetarische Oberkommando! All these promotions! You are just a bureaucrat! A supply officer!

Gangele freezes and drops his teacup, those words cut deep. He then looks at YN.

Gangele: (close to crying) Is, is it true?

YN: Gangele, I chose you personally, because you were qualified. You are not a pet project and you sure as hell deserve to be here. It is true that your file was the first one to arrive on my desk, the war needed to be prosecuted quickly and you got the job. I initially questioned my decision, but your effectiveness quickly made that melt away. You are more than qualified to serve in my court and with the Planetarische Oberkommando.
And Grey, NEVER, pull that stunt again! Your colleagues have the same level of qualifications as you, just in different areas. You are an expert in keeping order. Moss is a High Lord Inquisitor, that speaks for itself. And Gangele, he is an expert with logistics. He figured out a way to keep your Angriffsgruppe Speer equipped even when encircled. I believe you owe him an apology.

Grey: I I I'm sorry Gangele, I lost my cool and you have every right to be mad at me. Your majesty, may I request that Moss and Gangele Proceed with the operation, my unit, with your permission of course, will make up the reserves.

Gangele: I won't forget this Grey (smiles)

YN: Mistral is also a fruit that is ripe for the plucking. It is only half as well defended as Vacuo. Gangele, take Angriffsgruppe and Schwert Befehlsgruppe Ost (Command Group East) and you will take Mistral. The predicted time will be two weeks.
Moss, take Angriffsgruppe rot and Befehlsgruppe west (Command Group West) and you will take Vacuo. The predicted time will be three weeks.
Grey, Your unit will stay in reserve. In the future maybe you will think twice before insulting another member of the Planetarische Oberkommando.

The three men click their heels and salute before leaving the room. YN then sits down at his desk and he prepares for diplomatic negotiations to see if they can take the countries without violence. And it turns out that it can be done. The armies of Vacuo and Mistral lay down their arms, and their civilians cheer the Imperial guard units as they march through the countryside. As a point of pride, they want to have the best palace, the favorite palace of the Emperor. They know they can't compete with the White Palace, several million died during and after construction and it cost the GDP of several countries, but they can grapple for second best.

Both nations immediately start to convert and or enlarge buildings for usage as an Imperial palace. They also have to make a palace for their governors because Moss has been appointed as the governor of Vacuo while Gangele has been made the governor of Mistral. These positions are more ceremonial than anything, but the perks are the same. However they will still primarily reside in their mansions on the grounds of the White Palace.

These two campaigns brought two young to the forefront and the attention of YN and his court, Heisser Heydrich and Willhelm Speer. They, like Gangele, are outstanding bureaucrats and officers with decent combat records. Heisser made his name with the sorting and successful classification and organization of the new citizens, and getting rid of those who don't conform. Speer made his name with overhauling the armaments industry on Remnant making it more fuel efficient, productive, and eco-friendly.

They were summoned to the White Palace and they were given official positions in YN's court. Positions than needed to be filled. Heisser and Speer would work for YN as minister for the Interior (sort of a small scale Inquisition) and minister of industry respectively.

AN: I'll work on bios for Gangle in addition to Heisser and Speer in the next three chapters. So don't worry, these characters will have some backstory. Also whatever I am listening to or watching in the background has a great impact on my stories. For example, I was watching a WWII documentary about the German leadership and voila, you get Heisser Heydrich and Willhelm Speer. Future chapters will also have aspects of what would happen with so many organizations and big players, political infighting, a little bit of backstabbing, and a lot of sucking up to YN.
