Changmin gasped at the sight of Minyoung standing in front of them. "Minyoung-sshi?"

Hearing the two calling out his fiance's name but not looking toward her direction, Ilwoo panicked. He quickly turned to look at his fiancée and noticed that her eyebrows were slightly furrowed. "Minyoung..."

Gradually opening her eyes, she looked up at him in confusion. "Ilwoo-sshi?"

Sighing in relief, Ilwoo assisted Minyoung to sit up and hugged her. "Thank goodness you're okay. I thought that I've lost you."

"Ilwoo-sshi...I..." Minyoung felt pain on her left leg and wondered what happened. "Why am I here? What's wrong with my leg? What about the wedding?"

Ilwoo released his embrace on her and made eye contact. "We never went through with the wedding. You fell off a cliff and broke your leg that morning."

"I fell off a cliff? Why would I go there on our wedding day?"

"You don't know why?"

"No." Minyoung shook her head.

"Try to remember what you did that morning."

"I..." Minyoung shut her eyes and tried to recall. "I was getting ready for our wedding and a hairpin caught my eyes. I picked it up and..."

"And what...?" Ilwoo encouraged.

Now that I'm out of my body, I know the truth. Minyoung smiled. That hairpin was given to me by Minwoo-sshi. He gave it to me as a gift for our wedding.

"Who are you?" Jaejoong asked the transparent form before him.

I'm Park Minyoung.

"Why are there two of you?" Changmin was curious.

I'm the real Minyoung.

"What?" Changmin gawked in surprise.

Could we talk outside? The current Minyoung can't know about this.

"Okay." Jaejoong told his team members and they went to his room after informing Ilwoo. They shut the door and continued their earlier conversation. "Let's proceed with where we left off."

I was supposed to die on the day I went out to the lake to wash the laundry. I dropped an article of clothing into the lake and fell into the water when I reached for it. I hit my head on a boulder after I slipped. Someone else was assigned to occupy my body once my spirit leaves.

"Someone else is supposed to take over your body?" Jaejoong asked while Changmin repeated everything that he was hearing to the others.

Yes. Minyoung gave him a nod. Accidents happen, and sometimes someone who isn't supposed to die, dies. These rare cases are known as wrongful deaths. As a result, some of these spirits are granted a continuation of life in another person's body. It's usually a body belonging to someone who is destined to die. This way, these spirits get to live out their original life spans.

"So, someone else is...?" Jaejoong derived.

Yes. Due to a twist of fate, she took a detour as a result of a blockage on her trail. She ended up seeing a house engulfed in flames and ran in to save a child. The roof collapsed on her, so she never made it out.
