"hey chim, are you okay?" hoseok asked jimin who has been frowning all day.

yoongi was in the hall way but halted when he heard the question being asked, he leaned his head closer to the sound

"i'm fine" jimin said in a small voice

"you know i'm not going to believe you, right? come on jimin what's up?" hoseok said

"remember when i told you that i feel like i'm not good enough for yoongi?" jimin asked

yoongi's heart dropped and he sulked. 

"yes i do remember" hoseok said.

'why didn't hobi tell me this?' yoongi thought to himself furrowing his eyebrows.

"it's been eating me up lately. what if he's starting to get sick of me? i'm not anything special. he hasn't asked me to is boyfriend, and i don't say it to sound troublesome or selfish it's just that it kind of upsets me" jimin said his voice cracking.

it took everything and so much more in yoongi to not dart in there and embrace jimin.

"jimin you shouldn't be thinking these things. yoongi is fucking crazy about you, more than you would ever know" hoseok said softly. yoongi nodded in agreement with hoseok because it was completely true

"how do you know that?" jimin hiccupped

"when we went on that mission last week, i asked him about it, but i secretly recorded his response to show you whenever you start to doubt yourself." hoseok explained, digging in a drawer to get the recorder and he placed it on the table and pressed play.

yoongi gasped and listened attentively

"yoongi, when are you going to toughen up and make things official with our little jiminie" hoseok asked snorting, lighting a cigarette

"i don't know" yoongi mumbled. 

"do you not have feelings for him?" taehyung asked, smirking at the tape recorder

"of course i do, i'd be crazy if i didn't, he's absolutely amazing and just stunning. i mean have you heard his laugh? i could listen to it on loop for a whole day and i still wouldn't get enough of it, and his smile is just breathtaking, it's genuinely the most charming thing i've seen. jimin alone is astonishing, everything about him is just perfect, i wouldn't change him for the world. you know? like i'm so contented with the small boy. i could talk to a million people in one day, but nothing would compare to how he makes me smile and feel in ten seconds" yoongi said, playing with his fingers. 

everyone in the car were left gob smacked.

"you're so fucking soft for jimin" hoseok laughed

"i know" yoongi beamed thinking about the little mochi.

the recording ended after playing the conversation they had a week ago. 

yoongi could hear jimin sniffling which made yoongi get a knot in his throat

"see? he's absolutely nuts about you" hoseok said rubbing jimin's back

"what if he changes his mind? i'm scared hoseokie, i'm scared that one day he's going to see me the same way i see myself" jimin wept

yoongi finally cracked and he stood up and stumbled into the room, tears evident in his eyes. hoseok gasped and jimin turned around

"i meant every single word i said in that recording, and i'm more than assured that i will never change my mind on how beautiful you are" yoongi rasped out. the thought of jimin thinking lowly about himself, makes his heart shatter
