So, the comeback was BOMB as expected from kings! I finally have recovered and decided to post another imagine!

My day have been quite the rollercoaster!

I tried to participate in the Twitter Q&A but I didn't get noticed. That's okay though cause I just appreciate that they communicate directly with Stays. Cause almost no one does that!

Then the MV was released and I fangirled ofc, and I swear half the group is after Felix' bias place in my heart! (Love them all though! #OT9)

And I am so happy the mixtapes are FINALLY on Spotify. Now I am only missing 3Racha (JYP GET ON THAT ASAP PLEASE! ALSO RELEASE THE I AM YOU DEMO/3RACHA VERSION LIKE THAT WAS LIT)

Then they did the couch Vlive which I can only describe in one word. FLUFFY! Them all just playing around with rabbits made my heart melt!

Then they published the fanchant video, where they once again want us to be pro rappers. I know what I will spend my summer on... :)))

ANYWAYS, here's the actual imagine

You failed once again. You were currently at home trying to master a recipe on a special dessert that was very hard to make. You had to go through multiple hard tasks like tempering chocolate, which alone could take you ages to get right. The reason you were trying so hard was because you had a passion for dessert-making. You couldn’t remember exactly when or how you got your passion for them, but you were pretty sure it was because of your grandmother. The two of you always used to bake together to make the most delicious sweets 7 year old you could imagine.

Because of her you had wanted to become a professional and wished to open your own patisserie in the future. But to become a professional you had to go to a culinary school, but it would cost quite a lot. You couldn’t afford it, even with your two part-time jobs. Luckily for you they had recently announced that. They would arrange a competition with 200 spots, where top 3 would get a scholarship. It was quite the prestigious school. You had signed up for it as soon as they announced it, as this was your only chance of being able of achieving your dream. You looked at the batter you were currently making and saw it had the wrong consistency. You had over-stirred it. You had to redo the batter and was more careful this time around.

Stray Kids had always supported you and your dream, and you had made cakes for them many times. They would always praise you even of you had messed up something. You knew they couldn’t notice your small mistakes, and even if they did they wouldn’t say anything about it. They would just be ecstatic over free food. Jisung had been a very supportive boyfriend and had tried to learn things from you while watching you bake. He would sometimes join you, hoping he could be of assistance. Especially when you made cheesecake. It would never end well though, as he was quite the messy guy. You finally finished your cake and was happy with how it looked and tasted. You took a picture and sent it to Jisung, getting lots of praise and a good luck from him as the competition was tomorrow. You sent him a good night text before going to sleep.

~~~The Next Day~~~

You were listening to the MC´s instructions about the theme for the competition. As soon as he was done giving out the instructions you went to your place as you already had an idea for what you were going to make. To make it into top 3 you had to show off, meaning you would have to take a risk and use difficult techniques you weren’t 100% confident in. Unfortunately you had no choice. You went and found the ingredients you needed and quickly but precisely put the correct amount of each of them in the bowl. You mixed them together, making sure you didn’t overmix it. You added the flavour, being a little unsure of how much you should add in. It was a rookie mistake to either put to little so it was unnoticeable or too much where it became overbearing. You put in what you thought was enough and put the batter in the pans.

You spread it evenly between multiple pans so they would cook evenly and quickly. You moved on and started on decorations. Glaze, chocolate ganache, mini desserts to top your cake with etc. Wiping the sweat off of your forehead you looked around to find stray kids in the audience. They all waved at you with a smile, and you quickly waved back and blew a kiss to Jisung before continuing on your cake. Before you knew it the cakes was done and you cooled them down so you could start decorating as fast as possible. Time passed quickly and you barely put all the decorations on in time as the time was up. You delivered your submission in to the judges and took off your apron and met up with Stray kids as the results would be shared after they had evaluated everyones creations.

Multiple hours passed before the judges had made their decision. Everyone stood anticipating what was to come. Jisung grabbed your hand and intertwined it with his to reassure you that everything would be fine, and that he believed in you. The MC first had a little speech about everyones efforts and so on. The MC then proceeded to announce 3rd place. Your heart beated fast when it wasn’t you. Jisung gave your hand a little squeeze as the MC was about to announce 2nd place. "2nd place goes to.... Y/n L/n!" You just stood there frozen. Were you dreaming? You soon got the answer as you were squeezed to death in a group hug by SK. They all congratulated you happily as 1st place was announced.

When the announcement was over you hugged Jisung. You still couldn’t believe you had actually made it. "See! I told you hard work pays off!" He said before he lifted you up and spun you around. He quickly put you down again. "Y/n, I think we should start training together. All this dessert tasting has made you heavy." He laughed. "Hey!" Was all you managed to say before he abrupted you. "Joking~" He said all smiley before he pulled you in for a sweet kiss. You eventually pulled away. "Thank you for being there for me Jisung, without your support I don’t think I would be able to achieve my sweet dreams."
