Emily's PoV

"I've got a date," I state, causing my fathers eyes to open wide. He turns to me with a baffled look of shock and confusion.

"So do I," Bella mutters beside me. He observes Bella for a few moments, checking that she was telling the truth. I don't blame him considering Bella was not the type to even date anyone. To be honest I'm not either, but it was different from any other relationship, for me this was going to be one that I dedicated my life too.

"Who are they?" He asks rather sternly.

"Edward Cullen and-" Bella starts, "Jasper Hale," I finish.

"They are too old for you," Dad mutters shaking his unsure of what to do. The protective parent was slowly breaking through and I could see that.

I smile softly, shaking my head, "No, dad, they're juniors, just like us."

Worried about Dad's answer Bella speaks up, "Please they are right outside."

I nod gently, "They both wanted to meet you in person."

Our Dad stares at us in disbelief, placing the cloth he was using to clean his gun with onto the table. An eerie silence floods into the room before Dad stands up abruptly clicking his gun into place.

My eyes widen few a few seconds worried that he was going to try to kill them.

He notices my expression and chuckles softly, "Bring them in, Honey."

Bella nods, quickly stumbling out of the room, while I grab my bag slinging it over my shoulder. Alice had insisted that I stay the night after the game, and I couldn't just couldn't say no to that adorable face.

Edward gracefully enters the room, instantly walking over to Dad, "Hi Sir, I'm Edward Cullen and this is my brother Jasper."

Jasper offers a honourable nod and smile, keeping his hands tucked into his jean pockets. I smile at him, blushing a little, as I entwine my hand with his, letting sparks fly as warm met cold. Jasper glances down at me, a wide smile appearing on his face.

"Dad, we really should get going," I say softly.

Dad smiles, "you seem happy."

I nod, flushing deeply, "I am."

He nods, "Go on then."

I smile, tugging Jasper's hand, leading him out to the waiting Jeep. Jasper opens my door like a gentleman, helping me inside. I then fiddle with the belts, strapping myself in. Jasper appears next to me, handing me a navy blue baseball cap, I smile as he ends up pulling it onto my head tucking stray hairs behind my ear.
