I immediately opened my eyes and screamed when I heard someone's footsteps.

"Who are you?!"

I don't know if it's a person or a ghost. But please, I still don't want to die!!

Just then, I heard a voice. "Sachi, it's me."

It was such a relief when I heard Dohyon's voice. Geez, I really thought that I would die tonight. I even prayed to God and said my last words. I was taken aback when Dohyon removed my hands from my ears and held my hand. He was gently pressing my palm with his thumb.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"My mom taught me this. She told me that it can make someone calm." He replied.

I stiffened and then, blushed with what he's doing. Thank goodness, it was dark. He wouldn't see the look on my face right at this moment.

"Are you okay now?" He asked with a soothing voice.

"Uhh, I don't know..." I trailed off.

I'm not okay. But I don't know if it's because of the lightning or if it's because of my heart that's beating so fast.

"Should I keep on pressing your palm?" He suggested.

"No!" I retorted. "Just help me go back to my room."

"Okay."

He held my hand, but I quickly removed it.

"I'll hold on to your shirt." I said and he agreed.

When we reached my room, I finally sighed of relief. I was supposed to say thanks, but I heard Dohyon already closed the door.

the next day 🍃

The first thing that went into my mind when I woke up was Dohyon. I was distraught with how he acted last night or should I say these past few days. He became nice to me all of a sudden. Although he still annoys me, but it's not that much as compared before.

Does he have an illness? But he's full with energy and eats enthusiastically so, maybe not. Did my mom scold him for always teasing me? No way. My mom doesn't even care when we argue. She might even take Dohyon's side instead of me. Is he reflecting on his wrongdoings and realized that he should treat other people nicely? Umm, no... he isn't like that.

Or maybe does he like me? Oh damn, I reached too far. This is most unlikely to happen. I realized that I was being idiotic to assume.

I put down my phone but I still looked at it occassionally.
