Who I Am

How the body falls apart:

First the brain and then the heart

It's easy - too easy - to start.

It's funny - the things on which we most
depend

Always fail us in the end

Just like how the body falls apart.

How a person falls apart:

First the head and then the heart

You don't see at first and you think you're smart

When recognising symptoms of a broken head or heart

How a person falls apart:

First the head and then the heart

And then the moods and impulses

And then the health and they're past the point

Of no return and then relationships fall apart

Love me for who I am,

Not what you want me to be.

See me for who I am,

Not what you want to see.

Don't pretend or undo the facts

Relax, relax, relax, relax

Love me for who I am,

Not what we want me to be.

But who could love someone like me

"A crazy person"Ain't those the facts

Relax, relax, relax, relax

Relax, don't worry, it's alright dear

I'll keep on digging my grave dear

Strew some flowers on my grave dear,

Relax, don't worry, I'll still be here

When the body falls apart

Feelings just like nausea start:

The nausea before the show,

The people that you think you know,

The person that you think you are,

The love that threatens to go bad,

The facts, sanity and love you thought you had, that lied.

The questions that go unanswered and
unsatisfied,

The growing up, the breaking down,

The grave digging, the blows,

The silent prayers, the nausea,

The show.

Don't fall apart, don't undo the facts

Relax, relax, relax, relax

Relax, don't worry, I'm alright dear,

Just falling apart and digging my grave dear.

Love me for who I was dear,

Not me, the one we wanted to see dear.
