Midway of his conversation he gets a call from one of his close homies who was from the other side of the tracks. "Aye nigga yo son "Lil C" just got dropped" "Yo nigga u need to come to the hospital rn". After hearing this Perico dropped his drink and ran to his car with the homies puzzled trying to figure out what happened after they followed and got in the car. Perico goes to the hospital and as soon as he got in the nurse notified him his son was being in surgery and nobody could go in. As Perico was livid making his way to sit down in the waiting room with his homies, he spots Dequan and runs straight up to him and throws punches at him. They have a full on blowout in the waiting room till the nurse threatens to Kick them out. ———————————- Perico: It's yo MUTHAFUCCIN Fault my son in the ER right now. (He yells) YOU A PIECE of Shit FOE Getting my son involved in this mess. You think Carlos would be proud of this nigga. Us fighting! U done fucced up Dequan, I swear the god I oughtta—-
Dequan: U oughtta what, kill me. I ain't scared, I made yo lil boi into a man. I was helping u out. Watching OVER HIS BACK CUS U WAS GONE. I did what u asked me.
Perico: I AINT ASKED U TO DO THIS SHIT. NOT Get him HALFWAY KILLED.
Nurse 👩🏾⚕️: ALRIGHT U NIGGAS GOTTA GO!
Perico: NAH I AINT GOIN NO MUTHAFUCCIN WHERE TILL MY SON LEAVES WIT ME.
Dequan: it's fine, I'll leave.
Perico: This ain't over nigga! He says while Dequan walks out (finally letting his homies rest as they held him back from beating Dequan ass some more).
Perico then waits for three hours as its approaching 3am. Then finally him and his homies are welcomed into the room where Lil C is. The homies roll out 30 minutes after being assured Lil C was ok as he was still sleep, Perico stayed overnight. ———————————— (In the morning)
"Lil C": (waking up seeing Perico passed out in a chair close to his bedside) Yo pops (he says gently, still a lil in pain)
Perico: Aye young blood. How u feelin. (Waking up)
"Lil C": still banged up and bruised. I took these 5 shots and ran with it.
Perico: Was this the goal, to get 5 war wounds ?
"Lil C": Pops u know damn well this wasn't it for me. I was being a naive young ass that thought I knew it all. I coulda died but I guess God has some other plans for me, cus this shit ain't stop me.
Perico: Yea I guess he did. (They laugh, and continue to have an in depth conversation) ————————————- Lil C was on crutches for the last few weeks, which in a way was good because it limited his activities and slowed him down in a major way. He would often talk to Jason and tell him what happened as their bond grew deeper, even if it was over the phone. A few days later tho, Lil C was hoping he could change things between his pops and his bigger homie/ play uncle Dequan. Everybody could hope for the better.
