Chapter 27: A Night of Love and Wisdom

Marie POV

Marie and Leon were now standing together on top of the hill. It was peaceful and quiet. The moon was bright as always and the wind in there tentacles was a nice touch. Marie was just gazing at the open land beyond her and Leon was crossing his arms. He looked over at the beautiful grey inkling who had a tear fall from her face. Leon broke his pose and immediately reacted to Marie.

Leon: Hey, you said you needed me and im here. Its about Callie huh?

Marie sniffled and kept looking ahead as she talked.

Marie: Callie...Did you see her? She used to be so pure and full of joy. Now shes this dark and evil creation. I don't even think thats Callie anymore...

Leon: Deep down I know shes still there. Whatever caused her to change must be put to an end. Now that I think about it, she was wearing these scary looking shades. They looked very hypno if you ask me

Marie saw the same thing. She swore she recognized those shades.

Marie: Urban legend has it that a crazy man developed a pair of shades that could brainwash anyone and used it on himself to get revenge on his enemies. Those glasses have power beyond regular control. It turns the host into a horrible evil monster...He was suddenly defeated by a inkling hero who pulled the shades off and buried them deep into the earths crust....You don't think Callie stumbled upon it...Would you??

Leon was sitting down now.

Leon: It is a chance. I think I did a report on those glasses in high school. But again, everyone thinks its a myth

Marie sat down next to him and watched the moon.

Marie: Well, whatever got her to be a bad guy, they got another thing coming!  She raised her fist.

Leon: Your so cute when your tough

She put her hand on her cheek and smiled brightly. She leaned closer to Leon.

Marie: No one makes me smile as much as you do, agent 4

Leon: Liz told me on stage you don't smile. You just have a tiny smirk, actually, your mouth is just tiny!

Marie covered her mouth.

Marie: Is that bad??

Leon shook his hands.

Leon: No! Of course not! If anything its adorable!

Marie punched his shoulder and layed on his lap. Leon looked down as she returned a look.

Leon: Hey Marie?

Marie: Yes?

Leon: Think Callie would like me?

She thought about everything Leon has done, his personality, and his ability to make people smile.

Marie: Knowing how sweet you are and she being so bubbly, she probably would've grew a crush on you

Leon blinked. He couldn't imagine that at all...Or...Could he?

Leon: Uh yeah, Ive always wanted to be a dad

Callie: Good! Cuz were making 20 tonight baby!

Leon was dragged under the sheets.
