During the whole day Max kept taking frequent bathroom breaks.
So, that was kinda weird.
I just assumed that he had to take small breaks here and then just to take a breather.
I used to do that during school as well so I just thought nothing of it.
Max's POV
"Max!?"
I heard a voice call behind me.
It sounded like David.
I would assume that if anyone, David would be the one to wake up.
Gwen was a heavy sleeper, and David was the total opposite.
Once I was finally done I wiped my mouth with some toilet paper and got up.
"Max? Are you okay?"
"I'm... fine."
The same lie as usual.
"Maybe you shouldn't go to school today..."
He said, raising an eyebrow.
Though I really didn't want to go to school, I'm honestly scared that I would need to repeat a grade.
"No I'm fine."
Again.
I took in a deep breath.
"I'm going back to bed.
I tried to walk away fast enough that he couldn't say anything else.
It was true though, I really wanted to go back to bed and try to forget this whole incident.
The next day uwu
I woke up feeling... better and did the same thing I did every morning.
Got up, brushed my teeth, walked out the door and walked to school.
This time not as many people were staring.
Thank god.
I was walking through the halls with Nikki and Neil to our lockers.
Nothing written on them by other people this time either.
I glanced around the room to, again, we Nikki looking bored out of her mind.
She actually looked... kind of cute-
