"Paul! Don't you dare!" you giggled as Paul picked you up, a playful smirk plastered on his face. "And what if I do dare?" he said as he slowly walked towards the edge of the cliff, the one he had dared you to jump from. All week you had claimed you weren't afraid of cliff jumping. But as soon as you had climbed the cliff, doubts had formed themselves inside your head. "Please?" You begged, looking into his brown eyes. He bit his lip, but the smirk didn't leave his face. "No. You promised, remember?" He said. "Yes, but- no!" you screamed the last part. Paul had taken a small sprint and jumped from the edge of the cliff, holding you tightly.
Soon, the cold water hit you. Your grip around Paul loosened and you swam towards the surface. Paul also resurfaced and laughed at your betrayed expression. You splashed some water in his face. "That was uncalled for!" You shouted as you splashed even more water towards the man you loved. His laughs only grew louder as he slowly made his way towards you, quickly wrapping his arms around your waist once more, trapping you against his chest. "But it was fun, wasn't it?" he asked as he slowly swam back towards shore, keeping you close to him to keep you warm. You bit your lip. "I guess it was." You said, which earned you another hearty laugh from Paul.
Soon you reached the part of the ocean where you could stand on your feet. Paul looked down at you and a small smile played around his lips. "Yes?" you asked, confused by his sudden behaviour. "I just love you." He said, making you blush. "I love you too." You said, a smile now playing around your lips as well. Pauls smile grew even wider before he dipped down. His lips soon found yours and he wasted no time in pulling you even closer to him, the heat radiating from his body, protecting you from the cold waves of water from the ocean. Your heart beat increased and you gladly melted against his lips and body for comfort and love.
