Apollo and Artemis were now officially apart of the council but while Apollo was just enjoying it, Artemis was thinking about how the ceremony seemed rushed. It was like Zeus wanted to get this done with quickly and what peaked her interest was when it was over Zeus had called all the elder gods and goddesses to stay after.

As she couldn't help but remember one day when she was still on Delos when she saw Perseus inspecting the burned down house.

Flashback

Artemis looked curious as to what Perseus was doing and when he noticed her, he beckoned her over. "What are you doing?" she asked and Perseus looked at her for a minute and had a somewhat searching look in his eyes. Then he turned away and spoke "Searching for who did this" she looked around the area and decided to try and look for something that may tell her who did this. Then she would tell Perseus.

She however didn't find anything so she glanced over at Perseus and saw him holding something that she had never seen before. At first she thought it was a stick but that changed when she saw it glowing a blood red then it shifted to a dagger and she saw Perseus tense. She was going to ask if he knew what it was but he took one last look at it before he squeezed his fist and the dagger broke.

Flashback End

She remembered that when she had asked Perseus about it he had stiffened and responded with a tense no. She had forgotten about it till now and she wondered why Perseus had reacted like that. Before she could think much on the subject though she heard Apollo yelling to get her attention.

She didn't hate her brother in fact she loved him, it was just that sometimes he was a little overbearing and it caused her to act differently around him and it made her wonder if this was what all brothers do with their sisters. She wasn't sure what to think of the other gods yet and she knew that a bunch of them were related to her through Zeus but that was not a comforting thought.

She didn't really see Zeus as her father as he couldn't just pop into her life and act like you hadn't let his actual wife hunt Artemis and her true family down. Not to mention that without Perseus' help they wouldn't be here and would rather be in a place Artemis hoped to never go too.

She turned to see Apollo who was dressed in a bright gold color that she couldn't keep her eyes on. "Why are you wearing that ridiculous color" she got a cocky grin and she could already see that he was showing traits their birth father had. Artemis hoped he kept some of his own traits and their mothers traits since only having their birth fathers traits, Artemis didn't think she could stand him.

"To stand out of course" Artemis was starting to feel the need to punch the grin off of his face. "Yes of course that's what you're trying to do" Artemis told him but he didn't seem to notice her obvious anger and annoyance as he continued talking. "So how does it feel to be an Olympian cause I'm loving it" Artemis at this point just turned to walk away and get some peace and quiet, that was until Apollo's next comment.

"You know I heard Zeus has another kid and is planning on him to lead the war" Artemis turned back to Apollo and muttered angrily under her breath. "Why wasn't I told that Zeus was planning a war" Apollo looked down and muttered something that Artemis did not hear. "Apollo" she told him as he looked up and his cheeks looked like they were on fire which caused Artemis to wonder why.

"Cause I'm not supposed to know about it" Artemis raised her eyebrow "I stayed behind and hid to hear what Zeus and the other gods were talking about but then Hestia noticed me and I ended up outside." Artemis started with rolling her eyes thinking that at least some of the normal Apollo was still there.

"Is that all you heard?" Artemis couldn't help but be curious plus if Zeus was planning a war then she should know that so she could have time to prepare. Apollo shook his head "They are going to try to get Perseus on their side" "Our Perseus" Apollo nodded.
