" but my baby's in town and we're gonna do some winter things "

warnings: established relationship, fluff, i don't have much warnings, and happy day eight of christmas fics

"Baby, it's not even that cold outside." Jackson whined, his head pressing into your stomach. You rolled your eyes and pushed his head off of your lap.

"It's twenty two degrees outside, Jackson. What is cold to you?" You inquired, raising an eyebrow.

Jackson placed his head onto his right palm, humming as he pondered your question.

"Zero degrees." He perked.

"You're ridiculous." You shook your head. Attention focusing back onto the Christmas movie on the screen.

"And you're no fun." Jackson jeered back.

You sighed. Wondering if going out into the frigid cold and suffering just to satisfy your needy boyfriend's fantasy of building a snowman with you.

But your mind was up, "I'm only going to be out there for thirty minutes then I'm done."

You stood in the snow, sniffling as you watched your boyfriend roll a big ball of snow around your front yard. You didn't show it on your face but your heart was warm at the sight. You admired Jackson's love for keeping the child in you alive.

There was never a moment that went by when you guys did things like this when you weren't happy with him. Although it's freezing cold and probably in the one digits, you still found glee in this activity.

"___, come help." Jackson waved you over.

You sighed and trotted your way through the crunchy snow. Already gathering the materials from your pockets that you knew he needed for his bare, stacked snowman.

"Give him his nose please." Jackson said. You snorted and revealed a baby carrot; the only suitable thing you two could find in your fridge. You stuck it right in the middle of the snowman's face and carried on to his smile with rocks, then his eyes with random buttons.

"Go get those twigs." You told him. The twigs were quickly stuck on either side of the new snowy friend. The both of you took a step back to get a better look at the finished product.

"Thank you for coming outside with me baby. I know it's cold but doing winter things with you is something I love." Jackson admitted. You giggled and leaned your head on his shoulder.

"No problem. I like doing winter things with you too."
