warnings: fluff, mentions of proposals, mentions of marriage, bambam being a clown, and engagement

"Is this thing on?" Bambam asked as he fixed his phone to stay on the counter of his bathroom. Knowing that the camera was rolling he took a couple steps backwards.

"Hello ___- actually I don't know if I'm going to show this to you yet. I mean, I should but- you know what, let me shut up." He laughed his awkwardness off and proceeded to reach beyond the view of his phone to reveal a drawstring bag.

He shook the bag gently in front of the camera. It had the name of the ring place you two had stopped by a couple of weeks ago. Inside was a ring you were basing your whole life around but still said you didn't want it just yet. Bambam knew you were lying. You were practically drooling over the ring.

So, he bought it.

And now he was preparing a way to present to you. Preparing a way to propose.

"Alright," he inhaled deeply before pulling the strings back and pulling out the velvet box. "Whew." Bambam bounced in his spot.

"Honestly, I can't believe I'm doing this." Bambam stopped bouncing, now coming to terms with reality. He was about to propose to you. Not hand you a ring pop or a promise ring but propose.

And then the next step were marriage rings.

It was scary, but he was easily more excited than scared. "___, we're going to be engaged, can you believe it?" Bambam asked the camera as if you were there to answer.

He opened the box to admire the ring. "Yea, me neither..." Bambam smiled as he pictured your reaction. He could already see it clearly. He was going to propose, you were going to be shocked and say the ring was too expensive and that he should take it back, with some reassurance you'd say yes and then you two would be engaged.

"Now, what I'm documenting this for. How the hell am I going to give this to you?" Bambam closed the velvet box before running a hand throughout his hair.

"Maybe I should do it the traditional way, you know?" He said, getting on one knee and opening the box for the video.

"Nah," he shook his head and got back to his feet. Pondering a cooler way to give it to you.

Bambam burst out laughing at the idea that popped up in his head. "Yo, what if I just threw it at you and ran away?"

"That's mean. I could just hand it to you smoothly- like- hold on-" Bambam positioned himself into a "cool" stance and turned away from the camera momentarily.

He turned back to the camera. "Wanna get married?" He said in a nonchalant tone. He was about to crack up at his cringe worthy antics before the door to the bathroom had opened.

"Hey, Bam, we ran out of-" You entered the bathroom to see your boyfriend stock still with a ring box in his hand. Your eyes widened and you gripped the door, an anxious feeling now bubbling in your stomach.

"Baby," Bambam drawled, rushing to stop his phone recording and dropping the box in the process.

"Shit!" He picked up the box, looking up at you. Coincidentally, on one knee. Bambam realized when you gasped and he had to gasp as well.

"Damn it," Bambam whined, being forced to propose to you the traditional way. "I wanted to do something cooler, but, ___,"

You breathed out a laugh. "Like what? Throw it at me?" You took a few steps closer.

"Exactly!" He exclaimed, opening the ring box to reveal the beautiful ring you had grown to love.

Your jaw dropped in disbelief. "You didn't,"

"But I did," Bambam wiggled his eyebrows.

You laughed. Hands flying to cover your face as your heart began to flutter. "Bambam, what the hell?" You kept laughing to hide the fact you were getting emotional.

"I'm not taking the ring back, alright?"

"But I can't-" You tried to argue like he knew you would.

"Nope, none of that. Now listen, I know proposing to you in our bathroom isn't really ideal," he said while taking a quick glance around the bathroom.

"Like at all. But I just want you to know I love you and that I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So, ___, will you marry me?"

Before any tears could fall you rushed to answer. "Of course I will!"

"Amazing, my knee was starting to hurt," Bambam groaned as he stood from his kneel. You swatted his chest and he took that hand to slip your engagement ring on it.

"I love it," You admired the jewel.

"And I love you."
