He was charming, you remembered that much of him. You remembered his captivating smirk and the twinkle of hope in his eyes when he asked for your hand to lead you to the dance floor.
He had laid such a good impression on you that it would be rude to say no. So, you danced with him. You danced with him all night. Your fatigue wasn't even enough to pull you away from him.
You recalled his smooth and profound voice, the way he spoke in the crook of your neck. It sent chills down your spine just from the memory.
Whoever he was, he was a smooth talker. His choice of words matched so perfectly and fit like puzzle pieces. It impressed you to say the least, you were taken with this mystery man who had asked you to dance with him.
You two danced, and danced, and danced until it was a minute after twelve. Suddenly he had to go and you couldn't fight the urge to frown. His departure was so rushed, it was like he was too carried away to watch the time.
Before you let him go into the night though, you didn't let him leave without asking for his name.
"Don't worry, you'll remember my face when you see it again."
FIN.
