The wind whipped the audience's faces as most of the heated hard ice flew outwards in an explosion. Even with the three walls of cement that attempted to soften the blow of Shoto's and Midoroya's attack, it still showed a powerful impact causing the predicament right then.

Taking back a step, after Bakugo found you and walked with you back to the seats. It was when your brother's second battle is about to start.

How your eyes sparkled as you cheered your loudest hoping to 'hyphen' him up. Though you knew that he may have never heard you. You still cheered as if he could, making your classmates comment: "You really love your brother, huh?"

You couldn't deny such a thing and smiled nodding but it left an aching sensation in your head.

What intrigued you more was when Shoto used his fire side, which you can never recall him using. "He must have hated using it, " you thought blinking in mild confusion repeating the reoccurring thought of not remembering something.

And the match resulted in Midoriya being whisked away on a stretcher.

Earlier before that, was the two manly boys form the infirmary. Instead of a fight, they battled through a wrestling match which for some reason had you at the edge of your seats. Despite everyone's salty comments of the tournament being a show for the hero course, you were determined to give your class some of the attention you know they deserve.

Cause now as time passes it was your turn, after repairing the arena and Iida and Shiozaki's quick match. It was now time for your's.

"Good luck out there, Todoroki-chan!" Your classmate cheered as you began to make your way to the waiting room.

"Yeah, your opponent can defeat you without even moving from his spot!"

"Be careful!"

You smiled brightly at their concern and said, "Thank you, everyone! If I can at least move him an inch then it's a win for me!"

One of your female classmates sighed in admiration and remarked, "Your too nice Todoroki-chan, I wish I was like you,"

"Don't, it's not worth it..." You blink at the words but then realized your classmates' worried stare as you suddenly went quiet for a little bit with a spaced out look. Scratching your head you sheepishly laugh saying that you are nervous to cover up your confusion. It was logical in your state and the situation so none of them thought anything of it and you quickly left.

"What was that?" You mumble confused as you quickly walked away. You let the words sink in before your eyes flash recalling again why you said then and bitterly smiled, "How forgetful I am, " you remarked, "It has honestly been a while, I almost forgot what it's like to be forgetful to this extent..."

"Why is it acting up now?"

Minutes passed and you finally reached the entrance of the arena. You took deep breaths to slow down your palpitating heart but couldn't help but let out a giddy smile. 'I can't wait to give it my all!' You thought,

"Do not use it, "

'...Oh right...' Your smile faltered as your brother flashed into your head. 'Shoto told me not to use all of my quirk... I guess I shouldn't --' just as you come to terms with the thought, fast footsteps suddenly came rushing from behind you.

With the loudest and most firm voice, your brother yelled causing you to jump in shock. "Use it!" He said panting with slight exhaustion.

"Shoto??" You yelped confused, walking up to your brother who was hunched over in fatigue as if he ran miles. "What's wrong? Why are you tired?" You ask taking his exhaustion away almost in a seconds notice.

"I am fine, thank you," looking at you with a serious expression, Shoto repeated "Use it... Use your quirk."

"What?" His words brought confusion to you, for just moments ago you remembered that he had ordered you to not use your quirk's fullest potential and now--

"I know what I said, " he interrupted keeping eye contact with you gently gripping onto your shoulders, "but it isn't fair to you to not use all of your quirk just because I don't use mine." Shoto clenched his teeth, out of his normal character, and said to you. "This may be early for me to apply. But I don't want to burden you anymore..."

"I was told that my quirk is mine... So that would mean yours is your own too. And so you should be free to use it as your own..."

This was all surreal. For the longest time, Shoto has always been so adamant of you not using your quirk to its utmost prime. He would never tell you why but he always wanted the best of you. It was odd of him, but you never complained. You never tried to pry. You just wanted to be with your twin all the time, so you followed. But ever since coming to UA, you got to see so many people who use their quirks to the fullest and enjoy it...

You wanted to feel it too...

You couldn't stop staring at your brother as he looked at you like he was going to uncharted territory to fight a war. "I... I am no expert at this... At showing how much I care... At being... Not selfish. I know that all this shouldn't be spoken by me but..."

"I could never get you out of my head. Even when I want to clear my head, you are always on my mind. It makes me so worried..."

"Over those few words... I reflected a bit... I then realized how much I always restrict you and govern over you... And you let me do so even if it hurts you. I feel so guilty to make you feel as if this is how it should be but..." Shoto couldn't bear the guilt any longer, little by little, he was losing confidence. Confidence to look at you in the eye. It touched your heart to no end. You couldn't help but smile fondly at your tall and strong brother.

"Shoto--"

"Hey! Hey! The match is about to begin! Ready yourself for the battlefield!"

You puffed your cheeks in slight annoyance. 'Teacher, you are such a blocker! Let me and my brother have a good moment.' you fume. Seeing your upset look Shoto couldn't help but look at you fondly slowly breaking into a low chuckle. "Go," he says tucking a few strands of hair behind your ear causing our heart to race as a wide smile brust on your lips, "Give it your all. I will be cheering for you..."

With a silent squeal, you felt a surge of energy erupt within you. You couldn't help but tackle Shoto in a tight hug to which he hugged back. "We are not done," you suddenly declare surprising your brother. "After this, we are having bonding time!"

"I can't wait." Shoto smiled at you, wide like a carefree person. Oh we're so inspired, you are definitely gonna win this battle or sure! "If I win you better smile around me all the time!"

"Sure,"

"No matter what!"

"Of course," Satisfaction on your face you puffed your chest out in a proud like manner. Clenched fist resting on your hips, you looked at him like a person on a mission. "I am off then!" you giggle walking out of the gate to hear the cheers of the crowd roaring for you and Tokoyami, but before you left earshot Shoto spoke up.

"I love you, (Y/N)"

Your eyes widen far more than it should but it made the hairs on your skin stand with such euphoria, nothing on earth could make you wish for a different life. Looking back at him you grinned as the cheery girl you are, easing his bubbling worries.

"I love you too, Shoto"
