A confident grin appeared on my face as my mind concentrated on the task at hand. I ignored the feeling in my stomach as I peered down at the blue below my feet. Fishes swam by looking up in curiosity before sending a cheerful hello and swimming away. I smirked at the naiads who were watching my curiously some would come close an attempt to grab my feet. But they always slammed into solid water which only made me giggle at their attempts.

Walking on water is what I decided to do for my daily activities. After about an hour of this, I had asked Nico to help with sword training. Since everyone else seemed to be avoiding me like the plague. It must be weird having one child of Poseidon go missing only for another to mysterious reappear. I bet they think I was sent to replace Percy but from the stories I've heard, that's a hard reputation to live up too. And a burden I personally didn't want.

There's been a blonde girl with steel eyes whose been watching me closely. I feel like she's going to dissect me at any moment I step out of line.

"(F/N)!" Someone shouted snapping me out of my thoughts as I felt my foot slipping. I feel back into the cool liquid as I started to kick my feet to stay up. Some of the naiads were laughing as bubbles floated up the top. I rolled my eyes as I took my time swimming up to the top. Turns out I can breathe underwater just another perk of being Poseidon's daughter.

My head broke the surface of the water as I looked towards the beach. Nico was standing there looking at me.

"What do you want?!" I shouted so he could hear me.

Nico pointed behind him. "Its time to train."

I sighed feeling at peace in the ocean before busting myself up as the water harden underneath my hands. I walked over the water surface with ease all the way back to the beach. Nico just stood there looking bored but his raised eyebrows showed he was impressed.

"Walking on water?" Nico asked me.

I grinned. "What? Jealous Ghost king." I teased leaning closer to him. He scoffed pushing my face away. I noticed a small blush setting over his cheeks.

But he turned his head to look away. "W-" Nico let out a cough. "We better get started before it gets too late."

"Yeah. Come on." I smiled grabbing his wrist. I pulled him along the beach towards my ship that laid anchored to the shore. "Let's train here." I pointed at the piece of dark wood with blue paint for decorations.

"How are we suppose to get on board?" Nico asked staring up at it with me.

I felt my smile fade as I felt my face heat up from embarrassment. I scratched the back of my neck with my free hand. "Well, you see-"

"You don't know," Nico stated bluntly as he stared at me blankly.

I sighed but nodded. "It didn't exactly come with instructions."

Nico pulled his arm from me as he stepped behind me more specifically into my shadow. In a blink of an eye, the darkness consumed him and he was gone.

I blinked a few more times checking around me. He... just disappeared. A loud cracking from the ship made me look up to see a plank falling. It landed next to me with a loud thud. Nico di Angelo stood on the ship looking at me with a condescending smirk. "Found it."

My eyes grew in excitement as I walked up the plank and into the ship. It was in decent condition, in fact, it looked brand new.

"This is so cool!" I shouted my body itching to just look at everything but I had to remember why I was here. Not to explore the ship, I could do that later. I turned to face Nico who was watching me closely. "So, do we just fight? Or are you gonna teach me something."
