Do have you ever had that one friend who just despises everyone and everything? Besides you of course, because you just do happen to be the one they rant too about all their problems. Nico would have to be that friend.
Jean is a natural social butterfly. He'll flirt with anything that moves. Nico wants to stab everything that moves. Luckily for me, he already tried to stab me and failed. I'm not oblivious, okay? I've noticed how the scrawny boy has been close to me. Obviously, he just wants a friend. Being the son of the Underworld must have a lot of disadvantages one of those include scaring the hell out of everyone you meet.
I honestly didn't mind it because that's cool! You can be friends with a bunch of ghosts and stuff. It would be the best-haunted house in the world. As for Hades himself, I hate the dude. Yes, yes I know I haven't met him. But I can tell you he isn't nice. No nice man leaves dead fishes on a little girl's bed.
I shivered just thinking about their lifeless bodies as their dead eyes looked at my ceiling. It doesn't help that I'm the daughter of the Fish King. Are fishes my subjects now?
Anyways the dead fish thing was traumatizing, so Hades is officially my second most hated god.
"Why are we here?" Nico asked standing on my side. I snapped out of my daze as I looked around.
We were inside of a McDonald's waiting in line. I shrugged. "Food, obviously. Since somebody." I looked at him. "Refused to get some shut-eye."
Nico rolled his dark orbs as he shoved his hands into his jacket. "You'll just attract more monsters. It's better if we don't split up."
"What about Jean?!" I shouted panicking. We left the blonde back at the hotel, we broke into.
"Don't worry." Nico scoffed. "He's safer without us there. Our scent would be stronger so monsters will more than likely come after us."
"Then shouldn't we separate?" I asked growing more confused.
Nico shrugged making me sigh. Typical boys not to think things over. "There's two of us." Nico calmly reasoned. "They'll be idiots to come after us."
I raised an eyebrow curiously. "You got a point. What do you get here?" I asked as we moved forward getting closer to the counter.
"Kids meal, usually." Nico shrugged nonchalantly.
I laughed at that. It was funny. The son of the Underworld liked eating kids' meals. It just proved Nico was a little kid even if he looked like he wanted to kill everyone around him.
Nico had shifted his jacket upwards so it hid his cheeks. But I bet he was looking a bit embarrassed. "S-Sorry it's just. It's so cute."
He turned to glare at me with dark red cheeks. My stomach started to hurt as I bent over laughing at him. Eventually, I heard him let out a small chuckle as I was giggling.
"I think I'll get a kids meal too." I grinned at the idea as I placed my hands on my hips. "And a (F/D)."
"Do you have any money?" I felt myself deflate a bit. "Or were you planning on stealing this as well."
I looked at him noticing the edge of his mouth was pulled up slightly. I felt myself blush before coughing into my hand. I lightly smacked my cheeks. Snap out of it! He's a friend. He doesn't like me, like that. Stupid brain.
"Well Nico, I know a few tricks but you gotta play along." I winked making the dark head blush but nod. I gently laid my arm over his shoulders pulling him closer. "Now here's the plan."
Time Skip
"This is going to fail." Nico deadpanned.
I rolled my eyes playfully punching his shoulder. "No, it is have a little faith."
