If you are just primarily interested in the story- ignore this!
This is just my sad pity party rant.-
Alright. I'll be completely honest.
I love my book characters. Really want some character growth here.
I am sadly beginning to despise this work though- despite the popularity- and I'm wondering... what are my readers genuinely interested in about this story?
Do y'all want some steamy devoted possessive but protective dominant/submissive sex scenes?
Do you want more cuteness and love?
MORE ANGST AND VULNERABILITY?!
I honestly feel this novel is purely cliche and a bit overdone. I don't feel like changing how I do the POV but I feel including more insight and history to the characters with depth to their pasts will make the story more enjoyable?
If that's the case- I'll be doing some chapter edits and changes to device a plan for more PLOT.
BUT!
If plot isn't what is drawing you in... be honest.... then I am more than capable of writing some very lovely erotica too. I just feel like my efforts have been entirely half assed compared to what I am actually capable of... and that's my fault! I just get caught up in random story ideas!
I swear it's like I've some issue with starting a novel and then STOPPING HALFWAY THROUGH WRITING IT BECAUSE I HAVE A NEW IDEA.
Throw me some bones, ideas, feelings, criticism (I don't get offended. Someone could throw hot coffee on me and I'd still find a way to crack a joke), and anything else note worthy.
I'd like to actually make this novel worth the attention it's gotten, but I lack the motivation like a lazy daughter-in-law forced to accompany her mother-in-law to impress friends.
Thank you for the support and love! I hope to polish this piece of coal into a nicer piece of coal!
