You'd heard the commotion that was happening somewhere secret on the helicarrier. You were high enough in rank in SHIELD to know it was something big, but low enough to not be told what it was. But you were the niece of one Bruce Banner, so you got the details anyways.

--

"Loki?" you ask. "Who's that?"

Bruce shrugs. "A guy who calls himself a god."

"Is he crazy?"

There's a pause. "... Not entirely..."

You let that process in your head for a little while. "Ok... So if he's not crazy... Is he a god?"

"Somewhat."

He goes back to doing his work, letting you process everything for a while. What the hell?

None of this makes sense.

"Ok. I should go back to work. Thanks's Bruce."

He smiles. "Bye."

You walk off to find this 'Loki' being.

--

You find it. The glass cylinder everyone has been gossiping around.

You climb out the vent and just as you're about to make the most sneaky entrance you've ever made, you lose your grip and fall. Thankfully, you were only a meter off the ground. Unfortunately, you did land on your butt.

You groan softly at the pain and rub it. It's one of those pains that starts out alright, but gets worse before it gets better. By now you feel like you've broken a bone. You huff and silently make your way behind the boxes of stuff they have just before the main team walks in.

That's when you notice the man by the name of Loki. He's certainly dressed funny. Like someone in costume, but after what Bruce said, you know that it's just what he wears.

"Loki," Fury says, watching him with one eye. You wonder what his other eye looks like. What happened to it.

Loki walks over to the glass and puts his hand on it. "Well, well. Midgardians. It's a pleasure to finally meet Thor's petty friends."

Fury keeps his calm. "Why are you here?" he asks. Fury knows that Loki should've been so much harder to catch than just that.

"Let me make my request," he says, each word making you more and more intrigued.

Fury looks to Thor who shrugs. "Go ahead..." Regardless of the situation, Fury always keeps his voice sounding more powerful.

You peer in closer.

Loki begins to pace and looks right. At. You.

You duck, still listening.

"I will only talk to her," Loki says.

"Brother are you absurd?!" Thor laughs. "There is no one there!"

You hear footsteps and your hiding place has been compromised.

"What are you doing here?" Fury asks, staring you down. You stand up and see everyone's face contort with shock.

"Well. What are you waiting for, brother? Bring her to me," he says.

You look to Fury and he nods. You slowly make your way to the entrance to the glass cylinder. Bruce puts his hand on your shoulder. By the look on his face, you know he's close to entering the cylinder in his own and beating the life out of Loki. You put your hand over his and that's when you begin to realise there's a tinge of green to him. "I'll be fine," you say.
