You had no idea just how appealing the Asgardian city was. It was absolutely beautiful. The light, the atmosphere...
He held your hand as you walked the bridge, the colours flying underneath you. You could hear the rush of water.
They met you at the end of the bridge with horses that were dressed in gold armour.
You found yourself lifted onto one whilst Thor got on his own. He smiled and you smiled back. You weren't particularly sure what to do and were grateful as the horse decided to move on its own, following Thor's.
The two of you arrived at the castle where you were immediately shown to your room.
It was lavish.
Nothing was out of place, yet you felt as though you were. The golden walls, humongous bed and canopy made it feel so strangely princess like. You liked it.
You explored the room for a while until you pulled back the curtains to find a view of the entire city. You didn't know what to say. It was breath taking.
It was night time and all the little lights from houses were twinkling like the stars in the sky. How was it that Asgard had better stars?
You basked in the dim lights until you heard a clear of a throat.
A woman stood there, golden dress in hand. She smiled politely at you and you returned the smile. "Dinner is soon," she advised before walking away and leaving you with a golden dress.
You went to take a closer look at it. It was floor length with a a tight fitting waist and a long, but not too long, v neck that was rather promiscuous, but so very subtle.
There were three different shades of gold all in that one dress. You weren't quite sure how to feel about it. It was beautiful, but you were just a bit apprehensive that it wouldn't fit your just right, or that it wouldn't look as good on as it did off.
Shrugging it off and telling yourself to suck it up, you put on the dress. And wow. You looked like a trillion dollars. There was nothing flawed. You were the literal description of flawless. The colour matched you perfect, and the dress seemed to pull in wherever it needed to and give you a little more room elsewhere. You looked divine.
After you finished admiring your lovely self, you heard a knock on the door. You went to get it, eyes still on your reflection. You bumped right into Thor who had his jaw to the floor.
You giggled, shutting it for him with your index finger.
"Y-You look absolutely amazing," he stuttered, unable to comprehend just how gorgeous you looked in that dress. "I've come to escort you for dinner..."
He held out his arm and you intertwined yours. "Let's go."
All eyes were on you the entire night, but you were just glad that the one pair that you wanted to look never strayed.
