Thor | In Your Galaxy

You watched his eyes sparkle with the light of a billion stars reflecting into your eyes. He turned to you, smiling. Who knew that it could be so romantic lying on the Bifröst Bridge?

He had his arm under you, pulling you close to him. Your hand was splayed out on his chest, the either arm nestled in between your two bodies. Time seemed to stand particularly still as you watched the wonders of the stars and the galaxies from the reflection in his eyes. The love in his eyes was enough to keep you there, but the glittering patterns of nature and magic mesmerised you.

You turned away, looking at the real deal. It was beautiful.

A shooting star passed and he was quick to point it out to you. "Make a wish," he said, smiling and pulling you in that little bit closer.

You giggled, closing your eyes and making your wish. When you opened them, it seemed as though a billion more stars had been scattered across the night sky.

"What did you wish for?" he asked.

You shook your head. "I can't tell you what I wished for."

"Why not?"

"Because then it won't come true."

You kissed the tip of his nose before settling back into your position. You could lie here forever with him.

"You know that's just some Midgardian lies, right?" he asked, blocking your entire line of sight.

You giggled. "Well I happen to be from Midgard. So watch it, Thor."

He chuckled, relaxing back. There was a long silence as you watched more and more shooting stars, but none came as close, or looked as lovely as the first.

Soon it became obvious that your body was ready to retire. You yawned and had a little trouble keeping your eyes open. Thor noticed and smiled. "Alright. Come on. Let's get you back home."

He helped you up and the both of you walked the rest of the bridge to the portal.

"Ready?"

You both stepped in.

Earth. Right in the middle of some random plantation near your place.

You sighed, looking to Thor. He smiled. "Do not fret. We can do this again some other day."

You held him close. "I think I like it better in your galaxy."
