When I was 15, I've always dreamed of the perfect date; candlelit dinner, beautiful scenery, with delicious food - which, of course, contains chicken, then we'll slow dance to a mellow music until we get tired, and lastly, stargaze before the night is over.

The moment V said that I asked for a date, I started walking away from him. Dragging me out of a meat restaurant is SO not a good start for a date.

"Kim Jisoo!" He shouted.

I continued walking away but the damn boy caught my hand and pulled me towards him, our bodies almost clashing with his strong pull.

"Look, V. I didn't ask a date from you and I'm not expecting one." I said through gritted teeth.

He smirked, "Alright." He stepped away from me and looked at me straight in the eyes, "Kim Jisoo, will you go on a date with me tonight? I'm asking not because you or Jennie asked me to, but it's because I really want to be with you today." Then he smiled, his boxy smile that I only saw when he was with his close friends.

"I still don't want to." I stood firm with my decision, thinking that Jennie or Yoongi must be the ones who asked V to ask me.

V slowly walked towards me again, frowning, "Guess I have to do this, huh?" He leaned, tilting his head while looking at my lips.

I backed away slightly, "What are you doing?"

"Kim Jisoo, will you eat chicken with me? My treat."

We stared at each other for seconds before I finally sighed in defeat.

It's free chicken we're talking about here. I won't waste free food just because V annoys the hell out of me.

"Is that sigh a yes?" He asked, trying hard not to grin.

"I want a bucket." I told him, an eyebrow raised.

V smirked, "I have enough money to buy  you two buckets."

"It's a deal then." I grinned excitedly, "Where are we going?"

"To a restaurant not far from here."

"How are we going to that restaurant?" I asked.

"Walk?"

"Seriously? At this time of the night?"

"Are you scared?" He raised an eyebrow.

"No." I lied. "But it's almost curfew."

"We'll just do what we did last time."

"I'm wearing a skirt this time!" I exclaimed, pointing at my denim skirt.

He made a face, "Who told you to wear a skirt, anyway?"

"Lisa did. She said I should dress pretty tonight because I have a date." I huffed. "Turns out I don't have. Talk about effort wasted." He didn't respond so I looked up at him. "What?"

"I'm right here. I'm taking you on a date." He deadpanned.

"Then let's take a cab!" I told him.

"The restaurant's just three blocks away from here. You can handle that."

We had a stare down until my eyes gave up and blinked. "Fine. Let's walk. BUT!" I raised a finger, pointing at him. "If someone attacks us, I'm leaving you."

"You're that scared, huh?" He chuckled. "Then I'll hold your hand."

V swiftly enveloped my hands with his, a sudden warm feeling surged through my body. The hold was really comfortable, despite us bickering.

"You didn't shove me. That's a good sign." He said and smiled. "Let's get going."

And so we walked, hand in hand, with no one talking. It was peaceful, walking with him just like this. Even my fear of walking down a street late at night somehow subsided with V beside me.

But still, the last time we talked bothers me.

"You said you hate me. Then why is this date suddenly happening?" I looked at him as we walked.

"I didn't say that I hate you, silly."

I glared at him. "You said you don't like me. That's basically the same thing."

"Hate is a big word. And I only said that I don't like you because I was pissed at you for eavesdropping." He finally looked at me. "I'm sorry for what I said."

"Then you don't hate me and you don't don't like me.That clears everything." I said with a hint of sarcasm.

"Do I have to say the words to you? I'm literally holding you hand right now, walking with you, and taking you on a date."

"Hoseok and JK took Lisa on a date tonight. Taking someone on a date can be platonic."

"Seriously?" He finally let go of my hand.

Shocked that he let go, I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow at him. "And if Eun Woo didn't get drunk before our date, this date wouldn't happen."

"He's not the one you married the other day, is he? I'm basically your husband right now." V winked before gently taking my hand and held it once again.

I frowned, not because he was being cocky. I would even blush at how flirty he's being. But when he talked about marriage... I remembered why I shouldn't be with him right now.

I remembered that in the end, I'd end up legally marrying Eun Woo, not him.

"Jisoo?" He snapped his fingers in front of my face. "Did I wink wrong? It's my first time winking at a girl."

Just like that, V managed to make me giggle and set aside my inner issues. "It's your first time?"

"I never flirted with anyone before."

"Oh really now? Even after you got married with 10 girls before me?"

"I didn't kiss them, did I?" He pouted. "I chose you."

I punched his forearm, "Stop flirting with me, V!" We laughed.

"You said you want a guy who's consistent so I'm trying to consistently flirt with you."

I blushed. He actually took note of that?

"You know that Eun Wo-"

"Let's not talk about other boys, please?" His hold tightened. "I don't care about Eun Woo. I can see that you still don't have any romantic feelings towards the guy so until then, I can still flirt with you, right?"

He can't, I'm already to planned to be married with another guy.

But I like him.

But dad's company can still progress before this semester ends.... Maybe then the marriage will be off.

"Well? You could say no if you don't want to." He said.

Here goes nothing.

"You can."

He grinned, "Good. Cause I won't take no as an answer anyway."

Dear Lord, i never knew he's way flirty than Jimin could be.
