The following weeks were so hectic, I didn't even have time to meet Taehyung or my family, and friends.

Inside my office, I worked on what I should address in our meeting for tomorrow. In the middle of me checking the reports, Yeri knocked on my door and got inside the room.

"Ms. Kim, Mr. Cha would like you to know that your meeting is moved today." Yeri smiled nervously.

"Today?" I exclaimed in horror, "What time?"

Yeri replied, "Right now, Ms. Kim. They're waiting for you inside the conference room now."

"What the hell? Why did you just tell me now?" I stood up, frantic, while gathering my things that I need for the meeting.

I am so going to screw up this meeting.

"I'm sorry, Ms. Kim. I was only informed just before I told you" Yeri followed me as I walked fast to the conference room.

"Alright, Yeri." I dismissed her, my heart beating faster as I got closer to the conference room.

I stopped abruptly when I reached the door of the conference room. I quickly brushed my hair with my fingers, and tried to look calm before opening the door.

Once calmed down, I opened the door and immediately said, "I'm sorry, I-"

I stopped dead in my tracks with what I saw before me. Inside the room, I saw my parents, Jin, Taehyung's parents, and the rest of the stakeholders that I'm supposed to meet tomorrow for the meeting.

After I scanned all the faces in the room, my eyes landed on only person standing in front, the one who's holding the remote control for the projector.

"You're late, Ms. Kim." Eunwoo said, sounding disappointed. "I was expecting you'd be a little early for our meeting today."

"I'm sorry." I walked my way to the front fast, my palms sweating as I internalized that my parents, as well as Taehyung's, were here.

I scanned the room once again, later realizing that Taehyung isn't here with us.

Eunwoo smiled, "Taehyung's going to lead the meeting first, says he has an offer for you."

I furrowed my eyebrows before sitting down. Just then, Taehyung entered the room with a confident aura, letting us know that he's used to this kind of setting.

"Now that we're all here, let's start the meeting." Taehyung professionally stated, walking towards the front where Eunwoo was standing. Upon Taehyung's arrival in front, Eunwoo sat on his chair whenever we have our meetings as he handed Taehyung the remote.

"Why didn't I have an idea about this offer?" I whispered to Eunwoo beside me, who only brushed me off by telling me to listen to the speaker in front.

Taehyung introduced himself and his company to us, to which I only nodded in confusion since these people around me seem to be indulged with what Taehyung's saying like our meeting wasn't moved earlier.

I found myself spacing out until Eunwoo nudged my elbow softly, causing me to sit up straight and look at Taehyung.

"Am I boring you, Ms. Kim?" Taehyung asked seriously, like a professional he is

"No" I chuckled, nervous

"I'll get to my point then." Taehyung straightened up his posture too, "Ms. Kim, try to focus now, will you? I need to have your insight to this one."

My eyes widened after he addressed me and basically told the whole board that I wasn't listening to him. This guy will have a beating later when I see him.
