Shopping & D-Day

The next day when I went to the hospital and told about the reception party to Raghav, He was rather okay with it. I mean I expected him to shout and make a big drama about it but he was rather calm and said he was happy to help.

It was the weekend for the girl's shopping and we were roaming with bags in our hands and only my dress was remaining. I had to buy 2 dresses one for the wedding and the other for the reception. We entered a boutique and asked for bridal dresses.

"I like this one," Sonali said and showed it to me.

"Hmm, Keep it aside we will see if we can find something else," I said.

"How about this?" Akhila asked.

"No, I don't like the colour," I said.

I looked at the red lehenga at the back of the section and asked for it. They brought it out and showed it to me and I had a feeling this would be the perfect dress. 

"Perfect" Gyan said.

"I agree" Akhila concurred.

"I will try this please," I said to the helper

"Sure, This way ma'am," She said.

I wore the lehenga and it was perfect. I went out to show them the dress.

"This is perfect, Let's take it," Sonali said.

"Yes," Gyan said.

"Pretty," Karthi said entering from the shop door.

"Karthi, What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Maanav chachu brought me here" He replied.

"Hey, guys," Maanav said.

"Hello" we all replied.

"I guess you are taking the dress," Maanav asked.

"Yup," I said.

"Aww, I missed it," Maanav said.

"You could help me with the Reception dress," I said.

"Yes, I will select your reception dress," Maanav said.

"Me too," Karthi said.

I smiled at them and we started hunting for the reception dress and after two and a half hours and 8 changed dresses, Maanav and Karthi finally agreed on one dress. We took the dresses and I paid for it and we went home. We had our dinner at the Ranawat mansion and left to my parents' home so I could drop Gyan there.

I saw Raghav's car in the driveway and went inside carrying Gyan and my dresses. 

"Hey, What are you doing here?" I asked Raghav.

"Helping aunty with the party list" He replied not even looking up from the list he was writing.

"Show us the dresses" Ma demanded.

We showed them our dresses and they said they were very pretty and after two hours we left. I went to my home and crashed for the night as I had to be early at the hospital tomorrow for surgeries. 

It was a very hectic week with all the preparations and all the consultations and surgeries. I had only got around 18 hrs of sleep throughout the week and I just wanted to sleep and not wake up for at least 6 hrs but as you know this was the weekend for boy's shopping. 

I woke up at 6 AM only getting 3 hrs of sleep to go help the boy's shop. Raghav came picked me up and we left. We reached Ranawat mansion in 30 minutes to see everyone ready to go. I was getting out of the car to greet aunty and uncle.
