It's been three months since the prank war which ended in a tie between both the teams. That weekend everyone left for their homes and it felt like the house was empty. But we adjusted to that silence by filling it with our chatter and movie nights, Jenga which always ended up by being Maanav as the winner.

It sort of is a routine now, When we decide to have a movie night, the suggestions are always the same...

Aunty & Karthi = Horror, Anime

Maanav & Uncle = Action, thriller

Me & Karan = Dectective, Crime.

The quarrel is always there when we decide which movie we would watch.

My life now has become a routine... wake up at 5:00... go for a jog,  come back, wake up karthi, get him ready for school, drop him at school and go to hospital, finish work and come back home at 7:00, help karthi with home work, have dinner, go to the garden and talk to karan until one of us has the urge to sleep.

It was friday today which means weekend is near. I woke up at 5:00 went down to see Karan.

"Why are you awake?" I asked.

"Can I join you for the jog?" He asked in return.

"Sure" I said.

We went to the park and started jogging.

"Is everything okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, mostly, just work tensions." He said.

"Anything I can help with?" I questioned.

"Not unless you can help me change a person's already made decision." He answered.

"That I cannot help with but I can tell you no decision is permanent and final if you can make the person regret his choice." I said.

"Meaning?" He asked me to elaborate.

"Make the person that has already taken the decision to regret the decision he has taken. Make him realise his decision is wrong." I said.

"What if the decision he has taken is actually good for my company?" He asked stopping and facing me.

"Whose company is it?" I asked.

"Mine" He replied.

"Who has been with the company from it's inception?" I asked.

"Me and Kruthika" He said.

"Have you taken any measure only make sure that your company loses it's standing in the market?" I asked holding his shoulders.

"Ofcourse not" He exclaimed.

"Then I don't see how you can second guess yourself, when you say that person's decision is wrong then it is wrong." I said smiling at him.

"You are right, I will fight for my right in the company" He said.

"When am I not right" I sassed with a cheeky smile.

"When you said, you will win this race" He said and started running towards the entrance.

"Cheater" I shouted and started running behind him.

We both came home and I went to Karthi's room to wake him up.

"Good morning karthi" I said sitting on the bed and rubbing his scalp.

He just moved and didnot wake up.

"You need to wake up sweetheart or else you will be late." I said.

"I don't want to go to school" He mumbled in to his pillow.
