CHAPTER 24

For the rest of the week, Chaeyoung got accustomed to sporting the hickey on her neck. It was pointless to even try to hide it since everyone knew it was there. So she just owned it and ignored how everyone's gaze would immediately zero in on her neck. The weekend finally came and she was so excited to get fitted into her wedding dress and see how her friends look in their bridesmaid dresses as well. Jennie was going to have a separate fitting with her own set of bridesmaids so she was excited to spend time with her set of friends.

It was early Saturday morning and Chaeyoung was in one of Jennie's black van with all her bridesmaids and were headed to Vera Wang's exclusive bridal boutique. Jennie made sure to get one of her father's most trusted chauffers to accompany her fiancé and her friends to the boutique since Chaeyoung didn't have her license yet.

On the way there, the girls kept singing to Kpop songs and they was so excited to get there. Lisa was on the verge of tears while patting Chaeyoung's head. "Oh our baby chipmunk is getting married. I know it's been a long time since it was announced but it hasn't sunk in this much since today now that you're getting fitted into a wedding gown."

The girls agreed and everyone was actually starting to get all sentimental. God knows Park Chaeyoung is a cry baby. You could literally say something not even remotely sad and convey it in a melancholic mood and she would honest to goodness bawl her eyes out in sympathy for you. So before they all go into a crying fit, Joy started playing a random 2ne1 song and urged her friends to dance with her.

The Van stopped in front of a large building that seemed to be one of the high rise buildings in the city. "We're here ladies. Please stay in your seats for a while." The chauffer quickly stepped out of the van and swiftly opened its doors to help the girls out one by one. "Please proceed to the 25th floor. Miss Kim has instructed the front desk that you will be dropping by so there's no need to approach them anymore. Have a pleasant time Miss Park." With a final bow the Chauffer moved away and drive the Van into the parking lot to wait for the girls to finish.

The young students looked at each other and squealed at their blonde friend. "Oh Jennie is literally treating you like a queen! Ommo so romantic!" Joy gripped Mina's arm and was blushing so hard you would've thought she was the one getting married.

"So this is how people treat you when you're engaged to the country's youngest and most powerful CEO" Jihyo was holding her hand against her chest and was staring dreamily at the sky. Yeri slung her arm around Jihyo's shoulder and dreamily looked at the sky as well. "I wonder what Jennie is like as a fiancé? She's getting hotter and hotter by the minute in my eyes"

Chaeyoung gasped and slapped Yeri's arm in protest making her friends throw their heads back in laughter. Jihyo being the eldest of them all, led them inside the building so that they can start the fitting. The girls arrived at the 25th floor and they all were vibrating in excitement when the elevator doors opened.
