Coffee...and friends?

Jannat POV (mainly thoughts)
---I sit leaning gently on him, my arms around his waist- steadying myself as we get on the highway and a rush of cold air hits me. My hair is put up so the wind can hit against my neck... soothing, I've never felt anything as wonderful....--
--My pleasant thoughts are interrupted by him saying something... but I don't catch it at first over the wind...--
Jaan: what?
Rohan: let's stop at the next parking for lunch?
Jaan: (I look down at my watch- 1:30pm) yes!! That would be amazing!
-I say suddenly realizing how hungry I was... I hadn't eaten anything in the morning as I was so nervous about my first date... but now I'm starving!!!
He pulls up at the parking and I take my hands off his waist which I kinda regret cuz it felt so warm....---oh god Jannat! Snap outa it! You just met!...(to herself) I take my helmet off and put it in my sack and so does he... after that he puts his hand around my shoulder and walks me over to the restaurant nearby....it feels so normal and not seductive but a kinda friendly gesture...
Rohan snaps his fingers in front of my face and that gets me outa my trance of thoughts... oh damn it! I should stop zoning out...
Waiter: ... what would you like to order?
Rohan: noodles with soup and chips...
Jaan: umm... same for me... thank you!
(The waiter nods and goes away)
Jaan: so... how much farther from here?
Rohan: well... probably gonna reach in half an hour...
Jaan: we should talk about something...
Rohan: ya definitely... which year are you in college...?
Jaan:I'm a freshman...
Rohan: that's actually damn young... I'm final year... I'm going to university in Switzerland after that... (sarcastically but with sadness) so this is kinda the perfect time to meet a girl like you..
Jaan: (also getting sad) oh... (trying to cheer up) that's fine! We'll make the most of the time that we have together...
--I take my camera out of my bag and we take a selfie as our food arrives---
*after we eat we head back to the bike and off we go again*
-- within about forty minutes we get to the place and I can smell the salt in the wind denoting that we're close to the sea... we get of the bike near a small cafe... (it's around 2:15pm) we walk over and I see the road turn to sand as we walk on... we take our shoes off before entering cuz that's what the yellow signboard says...
We enter the cafe and it's a cool place with an amazing view of the ocean...
Rohan: tea or coffee?
Jaan: coffee...I guess...
Rohan: Great..
---we pay for our orders and just as I pick up my coffee he holds my hand and takes me out to the balcony... which is a kinda wooden terrace where he sits down and so do I... we drink our coffee and return the cups... ---
Then he smirks at me....
Jaan: what?
Rohan: let's go in the water (pointing at the sea...)
Jaan: Wait whaaa! ---before I could say anything he picked me up bridal style and it was romantic and all.... until he got to the water... and dripped me in--
Jaan: Aaaaaa! I am so gonna get you for that!!! U are kidding I am completely wet!!! You better brace yourself cuz I'm gonna throw water on you!
---he takes his shirt off and gives a thumbs up sign and I put as much of my hands into the water as I could and splash water onto him and he flinches realizing how cold the water is and some of it gets in his ear!! He DESERVES IT!!!----
We both laugh and splash some more and then do deeper to let a few waves hit us... we play there until we feel numb due to the saline water and then decide to take a break... we walk back to the terrace filled with salt water and sand... as we sit down we look at each other and laugh... his hairs sticking out in random directions as my hair is milled with salt...---
Jaan: this is the best day of my life!!!
Rohan: sameee! I had a damn lot of fun after a long time...
--- we sit for some more time watching the sunset as I take my camera out and take loads of pics of the sunset and the beach and then a few selfies... to show Avu... then we get cake from the cafe and it's almost 6:40pm...damn how time flies when you're having fun!---
Rohan: well... should we head back?
Jaan: definitely! We hv school tomorrow... we can't be late!
---By the time we get back to college grounds it's already 10:30 and I had fallen asleep on the way, but he nudges me awake and walks me to my room... by now I was fully awake...--
Rohan: so... I'll see you tomorrow morning?
Jaan: yup! You better!
Rohan: I will...
-- he kisses me on the cheek and I feel his warmth flow through me... it felt so normal... like it was meant to be... something told me that he was the one...was he?--
We said our good byes and I stood there watching him walk away until he turned at a corner and I could no longer see him... then I opened my door and changed my clothes... took a full bath washing by hair and everything... by the time I was don't it showed 11:15 pm on my clock and I tucked myself under the covers and went to bed... only one thing on my mind- only one person.. Rohan Mehra..
