apollo wasn't sure on how to react, he was the one who guessed right, ..but he still had such a hard time believing all of this, ..it was so much to take in, his own mentor, ...a murderer, and set up his own friend?

'B-But of course Mr. Gavin knows the color of the cards!'

he wasn't even sure what and who he was defending anymore..., his client, his mentor, ..he didn't know, he didn't know what to believe, ..but mr wright's words rang truth into his ears

'How would he?, the photo of the crime scene is black and white, You can't tell which of the cards are blue, the ones on the floor, or the table'

apollo then pulled out the other photo

'B-But look! You can see the colors in this photo!'

'Yes, but when he said the cards were "blue", it was before this evidence was shown, he said and i quote "a test of wits, a silent clash of passions... Only the cards, their backs wreathed in blue flame, know its final outcome."'

honestly apollo was impressed at the fact mr wright had memorized all of this without the help of a notebook, phoenix snarled as he glared up at him

'well gavin?'

kristoph, though seemed as poker-faced and collected ever, kept his mouth shut as he stared at phoenix in his eyes, ..apollo felt anxious at the sudden silence

'Mr.... Gavin?'

the judge felt anxious as well, in all of his years of knowing phoenix, their were two things to know, number one, he wasn't mess around, and number two, he tends to be right about a lot of things

'Mr. Gavin! I-Is something the matter?'

it was then kristoph finally snapped out of his daze

'Hmm? N-No, nothing. Excuse me, it was just so... sudden. Wright. You aren't seriously accusing me... are you?'

phoenix glared as he spat out in venom

'i don't fuck around when it comes to shit like this gavin!'

'OBJECTION!!'

payne didn't understand what was happening at all, and called out on the ridiculousness of the situation at hand

'This has gone beyond ridiculous, beyond dumb... This is insanity! The defendant accusing his own defense attorney of murder?'

'i'm not saying this again, i don't fuck around when it comes to shit like this!!'

he repeated

'But what possible connection could Mr. Gavin have to the victim!?'

phoenix glared as he reminded the court

'oh you wanna fucking pull out that?!, well then!!, if that's the case!, what connected do i have with smith huh?!, can you fucking tell me?!'

payne had to admit, he had a good point, but still refused to believe this

'Yes, but Mr. Gavin and the victim have never even met!--'

'this is what i mean when i say lawyers are fucking idiots!, you never consider all the possibilities'

he snapped, before payne could even ask, phoenix pointed out

' What if they have?'

'Huh...?'

'There is a possibility, They may have met that night, before the game started'
