Because Troye or Jacob rarely speak to their families, they decided against having a big wedding and to just go to a courthouse to legally become married.

We were both fine with it and Troye had said he couldn't care less about how it happened as long as he was legally a Bixenman.

It had been planned for them to get married a couple months from now and the two were more excited than two teenage schoolgirls who had been asked to prom by their crushes.

Right now, the young couple were on a date at IHOP for dinner.

Bailey missed Hari and Hari was more than happy to babysit.

"Jacob Bixenman," Troye smiled, stirring his drink absentmindedly.

"Troye Sivan," Jacob grins.

"Troye Bixenman," he tests. He giggles, "I like it."

"Jacob Siv-"

"No."

"Why not?"

"Because. I like Troye Bixenman. It's cute."

"Well, maybe I like Jacob Sivan," Jacob states teasingly.

"No, I don't the alliteration of it," Troye whines.

"Okay, okay. Fine. Troye Bixenman it is." He wiggles happily in his seat for a minute with a smile spread across his face.

Bringing Troye's hand to his lips, Jacob kisses his knuckles softly, "I love you so much, my beautiful baby boy."

A blush makes its way onto his cheeks as he smiles, "I love you too, tiger bug."

"You haven't called me that in a long time," Jacob laughs.

"I know. I wanna bring it back. It was cute," he blushes harder.

"It was embarrassing."

"It was precious."

"It was humiliating."

"It was one of the best days of my life."

Jacob shuts his mouth and give a small smile to his fiancé.

"I'll never forget that day," Troye continues.

"That was the day you were too-"

"-shy to pick you up for our date because I thought it was weird to bring you flowers and I got scared by a flying bug that was on the tiger lilies, and ended up using the flowers as a weapon, yes I know," Jacob blushes, embarrassed by the memory. "I was there."

Troye laughs, "I love you, tiger bug."

The elder sighs, a shy grin on his lips, "I love you too, baby boy."

The next couple months consisted of planning out what to do after getting married, before getting married, outfits, etc.

It wasn't hard since it wasn't a huge wedding, but it was still stressful to figure out dinner arrangements and things like that.

Eventually the couple agrees on going to their favorite restaurant afterwards.

They had sent small invites out to Hari, Alex, Ashley, and even Chris and Pete.

Troye had tried contacting his siblings, but, sadly, once his brother Tyde found out he was marrying a man, he immediately told Troye he didn't want to see him. 😭I know irl tyde 100% supports

It hurt Jacob to know that his soon to be husband wasn't accepted by his siblings. Or at least one of them.

Someone that he had been so close to growing up.

He wondered what Troye's sister would think of it if she was still here.

He never asked Troye though, of course.

After about one final week of planning, Troye and Jacob pull into the courthouse parking lot.

The small ceremony was short and sweet. Alex, Chris, Ashley, Hari, and Pete were there,

Bailey of course, was there, and Bailey insisted Patrick come too.

Jacob slips the band onto Troye's finger, declaring them legally married a few short minutes later.

Halfway through dinner, Hari, Alex, Chris, and Ashley had left due to having to get up early the next morning, and Pete had left due to having school the next day.

Leaving Troye, Jacob, Bailey, and Patrick to finish off the night.

Bailey and Patrick had fallen asleep on the booth across from Jacob and Troye, leaving them some alone time for a few minutes.

"Jacob."

"Troye."

"I have an important question."

"Okay."

"Well, I've been thinking, and I was wondering if you... if you would um..."

"It's okay," Jacob smiles.

"You can ask me anything."

Troye sighs quietly, "Okay...Um, would you maybe want to adopt Bailey?"

"W-what? Are you serious?"

Troye nods. "I'd love to adopt Bailey," He smiles in disbelief.
