When you found an arrow piercing your door's keyhole, you knew something was up.
Helena wants to chat.
You weren't necessarily in the best mood to deal with your slightly murderous ex-girlfriend/sort of best friend.
You had had a terrible day at work, Jason and Roy had convinced you to make a bust at a gang gathering and Bruce had yelled at you for it.
Why were you involved with masked vigilantes, again? Oh yeah. Commitment to ex-girlfriend/sort of best friend.
You opened the newly ruined door of your small-is apartment, and found Helena sitting by the windowsill on the opposite end of the room.
"You owe me a new lock set," You deadpanned.
Helena turned to you and raised her eyebrow, "Hello to you too, Bello."
Helena was dressed in casual clothes tonight.
Your clothes, you noticed.
She wore your black t-shirt with the Batwoman sign on it (it was a nice shirt and you were a fanboy), and one of your grey sweatpants.
Her wavy, dark hair was let loose and you noticed her fiddle with the gold cross necklace she always wore.
"Is there a reason for why you're in my apartment at..." You paused to check the time, "2:45 am?"
Helena pursed her lips, "Yes, actually. I came to talk."
Judging by the way she stood and fidgeted, it was obvious that she was nervous.
Helena climbed out of your window and on the fire escape.
You followed.
Once out on the fire escape, Helena sighed and ran her fingers through your hair.
You slowly relaxed against her touch, but didn't lean closer to her.
"Helena," You said sternly, "What did you want to talk about?"
Helena sighed and pressed her forehead against yours, "I miss you."
You quickly jerked away, "Helena–?!"
"I know!", She snapped quickly and folded her arms against her chest, "I know, (Y/N). But what did I do wrong?! What happened with us? Tell me and I'll leave."
