You fooled me from the start,

Tim had never felt so miserable.

He barely ate, even though his stomach always felt empty.

He barely slept, even though he almost never got out of bed.

'You're basically useless'

Yeah that is true.

The only somewhat good thing was that (Y/N) was always there.

She wouldn't pressure him to do anything, which had been a good thing at first, but now Tim had stopped showering.

Regardless, (Y/N) would always tell him she loved him.

Tim had believed her.

'You're a useless idiot'

That is also true.

Oh, and there was a voice now.

Tim hated it.

He hated being useless.

He hated feeling this way.

He wasn't happy, he was absolutely miserable.

He wanted to be happy again.

Dick had called him a few minutes ago and had invited him to lunch with the family.

Tim wanted to go so badly, but how could he face them when he was like this?

'You can't, they'll laugh at you.'

Probably. Most likely.

"Tim," (Y/N) whispered from her spot on the bed, "Who was that on the phone?"

A usual question that would probably lead to an argument that would leave Tim feeling even more miserable.

He had started to hate answering (Y/N)'s questions lately.

'That's not very loving of you. She's just concerned about you. She loves you. Don't you love her?'

I know. I do love her. More than anything.
