Part 33

Lauren watches as Lexi tries on her fifth dress. She doesn't get why Lexi's not happy with any of them, she doesn't look too bad in all five.
And then there she is standing right next to her not even having one interest of any dress in the store. They're too sparkly, too short, doesn't fit her but right, too long on the torso, everything falls wrong on her.
She lets out a loud huff when Lexi decided to not get the fifth dress.
"That one looks nice. Seriously, just pick one!" She snaps.
Lexi looks at her confuse at Lauren's sudden temper before shrugging. "My parents will be there. This is going to be my last look for so many people I've gotten to know. And my boyfriend would be there probably looking handsome as hell like he always is. I want to look perfect." She says.
Lauren rolls her eyes at the word 'boyfriend', and also 'perfect', actually it's just one big eye roll to her.
"Whatever. This store sucks. I'm leaving." Lauren bitterly says before turning her body around.
Lexi drops the dress she's holding before catching up to her. "I guess we'll look somewhere else." She smiles wrapping her arms around Lauren and she quickly pushes her away.
"You've found so many dresses. Might as well stay." She tells her.
"But we're suppose to be looking together." Lexi excitedly says.
She has in fact waited for almost four years to find the perfect graduation dress with her best friend, nobody can be more excited than her.
But Lauren is full on annoyed by Lexi's glowing face.
"Well I don't want you to come!" Lauren simply says.
Lexi drops her arms from Lauren and stares at her with wide eyes.
"Just," Lauren starts feeling bad for a moment. "I want to look alone." She says and without another word, she left Lexi alone in the store confused, wondering what she did.
