Lexi sits on her car for more than half an hour. She gathers her courage, looks out the window to Niall's house, and lose all of them again. She hasn't seen him in five months. Everything that she thought familiar has now become foreign.
Will he even want to see her? Will she? Or is she just here because she wants closure or whatever it is people seek after breakups? She wants to move on and put everything behind her.
She's meet up with the cast of her upcoming movie, finished rehearsals and table reads, and in three days she's flying to Australia to shoot. She's not sure why she wants him to be inform of that, but now that she's here she thought why not?
She finally walks out of her car after way too long, slowly walking across the road to his house. Her shaking finger presses on his doorbell, the pressing again when the gate doesn't unlock. She sighs pressing her lips in disappointment and embarrassment. She knew it, he doesn't want to see her.
She turns around ready to walk back to her car when a figure jogs to her. She's just about to brush it off and walks to her car when she realises who he is. She doesn't have time to process what's happening as he runs to her and brings her in a bone-crushing hug.
"Lexi," He mutters over and over again in her ear.
She misses how her name sounds coming from him, and she doesn't want to stop hearing it. Her eyes starts to blur by her overwhelming feelings but quickly blinks them off as he lets her go, before pulling her back in.
"Niall," She croaks.
"Not yet." He mumbles inhaling her scent deeply.
She is over him, she's tucked every piece of their feelings and memories safely somewhere in her mind. And then suddenly they all spill out, and she's back to where she stood five months ago.
