Part 51

Niall lets out a sigh checking his phone for the sixth time. It's been a few hours and she's read it, but she didn't reply back. Was it too soon? 8 months is still to soon? He flings his phone to the side and starts to prepare for rehersal.
"Look at me." Niall turns to Chris holding a camera and gives him a thumbs up.
"Dork," Chris mumbles making Niall chuckles. "So anyways, Lexi?" Chris asks as he flicks through his camera pics.
Niall shrugs. "I don't know." He shakes his head.
Chris looks up to him.
"I did ask." Niall defends himself. "She read it. No reply." He sighs.
"Do you," Niall scratches his head awkwardly. "I mean I don't know if this is even an appropriate question to ask but do your friend knows if she's seeing anyone at the moment?"
Chris lifts up his eyebrow as a smirk slowly grows on his lips.
"That's so weird. I know." Niall quickly shakes his head before groaning. "I have so many things in my mind. You're right. I don't want to miss any more opportunities." He says. "If this means anything at all in the slightest bit, I really need to know." He tells Chris.
Chris puts down his camera sighing. "Honestly, my friend is a set photographer. It's different being a set photographer in a movie set than a tour gig. You don't get to spend as much time with your clients, y'know." He says. "I don't think my friend knows even if I ask."
Niall shrugs disappointed.
"Listen," Chris grabs Niall's shoulder in support. "Send her tickets to see you. Maybe I can find someone who knows where she's settling on at the moment. If she comes, she comes. If she doesn't," Chris shrugs. "Then oh well."
