Taehyung filled the bathtub generously, adding more rose scented bubbles before sprinkling a few loose petals across the top. It looked perfect, especially with the candles dotted across the counter and his phone softly playing out a smooth jazz playlist.
His girlfriend couldn't see but that didn't mean he wasn't going to make an effort for her, she deserved the best and he sure as hell was going to give it.
"Taehyung?" Her sleepy voice called out from downstairs.
"I'm upstairs in the bathroom, want me to come down and help you?"
"I can remember my way up Tae, don't worry."
Taehyung smiled as he rushed around the bathroom adding some finishing touches.
Bottle of champagne.
Chocolate covered strawberries.
The fluffiest towel he could find neatly folded and placed on the counter.
It was perfect, he was extremely impressed with himself for doing something so romantic and so totally out of character that he couldn't resist taking a photo and sending it to the group chat.
