CHAPTER 16 : CHILDHOOD

Paglabas ko ng school ay nagtungo agad ako sa passenger seat ng sasakyan ni Axh, di ko na sya hinayaang pagbuksan ako.

"Pretty, mainit ata ang ulo mo. Anong nangyare?"

"Yung bwiset na Phamella na yun kasi, nakakairita"

"Tell me what happened pretty, please?

"She asked kung nagdedate daw kami ni Driel something like that kasi sabi ni Driel nandito ka na kaya nagmamadali na kaming lumabas tutal tapos ang meeting namin at ayokong paghintayin ka dito nang bigla nyang itanong sakin yun. Naginit bigla ang ulo ko dahil ang pinagmitingan namin ay tungkol sa Discrimination and Judgements"

"And what happened after?"

"Ayun sabi ko if ever ngang nagdedate kami ni Driel ano naman sa kanya yun, hindi din naman sya girlfriend ni Driel pero kung makaasta sya kanina akala mo girlfriend sya. Nakakirita kaya ayun ang walkout ako"

"She's jealous of you dahil malapit ka kay Aleckx to the point that she thinks na nagdedate kayo? HAHA so funny"

"Nung una sina kuya ang gusto nya, sunod naman ay ikaw, ngayon pati si driel. Nakakaloka Axh ha, kung di lang ako nagwalkout dun nakatikim ng mag asawang sampal sakin yun"

"HAHA kalma na pretty, mag ice cream na lang tayo"

Dumating na si Driel at dali daling sumakay sa likod

"Ate Raine, sorry sa inasta ni Phamella kanina sa loob"

"Ughh. Wag mo ng ipaalala Driel, please?"

Natawa naman si Axh samin kaya sinamaan ko sya ng tingin

"Anong tinatawatawa mo dyan Davin Axhthon?"

Nawala ang ngiti nya dahil siguto sa pagbanggit ko ng buong pangalan nya. Take that Leverson!

"Calm down pretty, next time mo na sampalin si- what's her name again? Well whoever she is"

Hinatid ako ni kuya Claude sa harap ng kuwarto ko at yinakap

"Kahit na nasa iisang bahay lang tayo baby namimiss din kita" and let go of the hug
He kissed my forehead and whisper 'Goodnight' in my ear

Today is Saturday, every weekend here in family is called 'Princess Day' meaning it's my day to be with my family and bond with them. But everyone is busy, my kuyas were out for business and taking care of the company. Mama and Papa were both resting. And I've got thing to do so to entertain myself, I called Axh and he picked it up in the first ring

"Hey" it's his baritone voice "Why did you call? Miss me pretty?" dagdag pa nya

"Axh" seryosong tawag ko sa kanya

"Yes pretty? What can I do for you?"

"I'm bored Axh"

"Oh, want me to pick you up so we can go outside?"

"Yes please Axh, I really want to go outside"

"Okay pretty, pick you up in an hour okay? Do your girly thing already"

"Thanks handsome" then I ended the call

I went to my parents room to ask permission and HAHA they agreed, the name of Axh really works like a charms to my family

After getting ready for almost an hour, I'm now wearing a sky blue cropped top shirt and a trackpants with my white shoes. Exactly after an hour Axh is already downstairs wearing his nirvana shirt and black pants and his blue rubber shoes.

"Let's go?"

"Arat na!"

We enter the cinema and watch a Romance-Comedy movie, after that we entered the Arcade and play games. We also visited a park, it's familiar.

"This is where we used to play when we're kids" bulong nya sa tabi ko while reminiscing our childhood memories together

I'm surprised na may dala dala syang snacks, pinaghandaan nya ang pagpunta namin dito. Nilatag nya ang blanket at nilapag ang snacks na dala dala nya.

"Come here" tawag nya sakin. I actually remember us having a picnic here in the same park. Then we're running and having fun like a normal kids do, I remember him saying that he hates the rain in one time we run our asses out in the middle of the rain.

As I sat beside him, I remember him trying to ride a bike and chasing me as he fell from it. Axh blowing bubbles as I ran and chased those bubbles, flying kite together. The one time I held his hands walking through the rain, hugging me in the middle of the park as the rain pours hard whispering 'thank you, pretty' in my ear.

"I remember, I stole your first kiss here when we're kids" he proudly said and that got my attention. Yeah I remember, that was after him whispering 'thank you, pretty' then he kissed me in the middle of the park as it rains

"After that I started to love the rain as I remember my first kiss were you also" para syang kinikilig habang inaalala nya ang mga pagkakataong umulan at naaalala nya ang paghalik nya sakin

The sun were already setting as we decided to go home. He dropped me off and I invited him inside for dinner, luckly he didn't refuse and we both went inside. The face of kuya Claude starled me.

"San ka galing baby?" matalim na tanong ni kuya sakin, nakakatakot ang aura nya

"Just went outside with Axh, kuya. Btw where's kuya Skai?" pag iiba ko sa usapan

"Still busy in the company baby, kasama mo ba si Axh?"

"Yeah, I invited him for dinner" tumango tango naman si kuya sakin

As kuya sat in the middle, I was on his right and Axh is in front of me. It's kinda awkward though. We're all eating silently when kuya Claude suddenly asked.

"San nga pala kayo galing Axh?" Madiin na tanong ni kuya

"Sa Park lang na pinupuntahan namin dati, we also watched a movie" mukhang di kinakabahan si Axh. Tumango tango naman si kuya at nanahimik na ulit. Aftet dinner hinatid ko sa sasakyan nya si Axh.

"Drive safely little boy" and pumasok na ako sa loob ng bahay. Naabutan ko si kuya Claude sa sala. "May gusto sayo si Axh" it's not a question, it's a statement.
Umiling ako bilang sagot, "kuya, Axh is a f-friend" nautal pa nga, baka sabihin pa ni kuya na may gusto din ako kay Axh

"Baby, Axh is my friend bago pa kayo maging friends. I know him, I'm certain that he likes you" ano bang pinaglalaban ni kuya?
"Bahala ka kuya, isipin mo ang gusto mong isipin. Akyat na ako, Goodnight" and I kissed his cheek
