CHAPTER 24 : BIRTHDAY

RAINE'S POV

Axh and I were together for a year already and today is his birthday. He's in work while I'm here in his condo, I asked kuya Claude if I can skip work today for Axh's birthday.

I decorated his condo with balloons and colorful things, I baked his birthday cake with 'Happy Birthday, Baby' written in it. I also cooked the food and asked our friends to come and celebrate with us. I fixed myself and took a bath to get ready, the crew came.

Suddenly I received a call from Axh.

'Handsome little boy calling..'

[Hey baby, where are you?]

"I'm here in your condo, why?"

[What are you doing there?]

"Uhmm, waiting for you to come home?"

[Baby, it's my birthday in case you forgot and I planned to take you out for a date]

I didn't answer him, I just wasted my effort? So dumb of you Raine. I immediately ended the call.

"Ate Raine, okay ka lang?"

I smiled at Driel, "Okay lang, sige na kain na kayo. Malalate si Axh, pasok na muna ako sa uwarto papahinga na ako" hinayaan naman ako ni Driel. I let the crew eat the food that I cooked for Axh, di din naman nya kakainin yun. Di ako aalis dito sa condo, bahala syang maghintay sa wala.

I heard a knock, "ate Raine" it's Driel. "Nakakain na kami, uhmm una na kami ate. Okay ka lang ba?" I can sense na nag aalala sya.

"Sige na, mag iingat kayo ha?" I slightly raise my voice for him to hear. Then I heard the door closed, they left. Mamaya na ako maglilinis, I need a break, nakakapagod ang buong araw ko. I automatically fell asleep due to tiredness.

DAVIN'S POV

It's my birthday today, and I planned to date my baby to celebrate my day. Bumalik sya sa bahay nila kaninang umaga dahil pinatawag daw sya ni tita. I'm currently working when Claude asked me.

"Anong plano? Birthday mo ngayon ah, painom ka naman"

"Gago, magdedate kami ni pretty"

"Seryoso ka na talaga sa kapatid ko 'no?"

"Sa sobrang seryoso ko kay pretty, pakakasalan ko sya"

"Wag mong sasaktan dahil ilalayo ko talaga sya sayo, wala akong pakielam kung kaibigan kita pero once na saktan mo kapatid ko sadya man o hindi. Ilalayo ko sya sayo at hinding hindi mo na sya makikita ulit" banta ni Claude sakin. Sa totoo lang lahat ng banta nya sakin sineseryoso ko, natatakot akong masaktan si pretty dahil alam kong baka ilayo nga talaga sya sakin ni Claude.

It's already dinner time, I called pretty.

"Hey baby, where are you?" bungad ko sa kanya.

[I'm here in your condo, why?] What is she doing in my condo?

"What are you doing there?" I honestly don't know bakit sya nasa condo gayong birthday ko ngayon.

[Uhmm, waiting for you to come home?] Now that's confusing, why is she waiting for me to come home eh lalabas nga kami to celebrate my birthday
