Catos PoV
I smirk as I see Clove up ahead on the sidewalk.
I open my mouth to yell out her name, but suddenly get a much better idea.
I sneak up behind her and place my hands over her eyes.
"Guess wh-AH!"
I jump back as the knife sinks into my finger.
"CATO! CRAP! I'M SO SORRY!"
I grasp my hand, as the warm red liquid spills out of my middle finger.
"I'm so sorry Cato! I'm sorry! You scared me! NEVER SCARE ME!"
"Ye-yeah, I know that now! Damn that hurt!"
"I'm so sorry babe!" she wails wrapping her arms around my neck. "But that was kinda funny..."
I frown at her and she gives me a little smirk.
"I loooove you!" She says batting her eyelashes, trying to make up for the amount of pain I'm in.
"Mhm. I love you too," I mutter. "I think..."
"You better. Or else that knife would be aimed strait at your heart!"
"Wow. What a sweetheart," I drawl sarcastically.
"You know you love me."
"Do I?"
She pulls back eyes narrowed.
"It was just your finger! You love me. Or else."
I laugh giving her a kiss on the forehead.
"Course I love you princess. Now can we get a bandage or something?"
