-Clove age:18 Cato age: 19-
I smile, planting a kiss on Catos lips, my boyfriend, and best friend of five entire years.
He gently wraps his arm around my waist, pulling me into him.
"I love you," He whispers grinning. "You beautiful, spunky...bitchy girl!"
"I love you too you handsome, obnoxious, jackass boy!"
Cato leans back, brow furrowed.
"What are you thinking about?" I ask.
"I was thinking about..." he pauses, laughing slightly,"I was thinking about the day you asked me to be your boyfriend..."
"Didn't you ask me to be your girlfriend...?"
"No...I- I don't remember..."
"I remember you hurting me....then," I let out a giggle, "crying!"
"I did not cry!"
"You did so!"
"No I didn't!"
I raise an eyebrow at him.
"Yes. You. DID! You were sooo heartbroken that you thought you'd loose me! Your gorgeous, amazing friend. You started crying because you thought I would never love you."
"Well...I don't remember any of that!"
"Well...i remember us running through the woods...."
**Flashback**
-Clove age: 13 Cato age: 14-
"HURRY UP SLOW POKE!" I shriek.
"I'M TRYING! IT'S HARD DO DODGE TREES! AND YOU'RE WAY TOOOOO FAST!"
I whip around and grin.
"You're just a poor looser. But I won!" I cackle leaning up against the huge willow tree.
Cato pulls up beside me, huffing.
"How. Ar-are. You. SO! FAST!"
"Eh. You're just slow."
"No I'm not!"
I raise an eyebrow at the tall blonde boy in front of me.
"Whatever! Now hurry up and come on! I wanna go for a swim!"
"Where is this pond anyways?"
"Just up there," I respond pointing down the green path.
"Ok fine."
We continue to walk through the trees when I grin, noticing the shining blue pond up ahead, greenery circling around it.
It's beautiful!
"You have your bathing suit?"
"I'm wearing it!"
"Good same now LET'S GO!"
Cato races after me towards the edge of the pond.
I slide off my t-shirt and shorts, revealing my striped top and high waisted black bottoms.
