Ok so letting you all know...

@ac110807

Who inspired me for a bunch of oneshots, and who is writing a oneshot book also (go read it)  was a main/co writer in this oneshot (part one and future part two)

Thank you so much :)

Clove griped her little sister as though he life depended on it. The Allied invasion had started a few hours ago and the shelling hadn't stopped. Her older brother, Mark, had left to go help out his allies, the Resistance. The moment the phrase "The dice are on the carpet and it's hot in Suez" those words meant nothing to the Germans but everything to the French.

Cato looked at his friend, Marvel, from across the plane.

"Why am I here Marvel?"

Cato was an ordinary boy from Vancouver. Blonde haired, blue eyed, average height, and thin spindly eyes. Nothing special about him. "You volunteered,"Marvel replied simply.

Marvel however was not forgettable. Goofy sense of humour, brown hair, brown eyes. It's pretty hard to forget netting him but they'd been friends since basic training in England.

"Alright, men! Take your places! Let's go, let's go!"

Cato turned to see the Commander marching towards them, his equipment strapped on and ready.

He was a tall muscled man, shaved dark hair and fiery eyes, filled with determination and power.

The men of line one, which included Cato and Marvel, stood tense, but prepared, as the automated countdown from the cockpit began.

"Fifty seconds."

Cato rubbed his sweating hands on his camouflaged cargo pants as he watched the commander slide the door open.

 "Forty seconds."

It was his first time ever doing this. He was a newbie, and in all honesty was a bit scared, but inside knew that what he was about to do could save lives.

 "Thirty seconds."

The red and white shoulder badges flashed in Catos mind as he continued to stare out the door. It was for his country. He would make them proud.

"Twenty seconds."

 "LINE ONE! READY!"

Cato stepped forward slightly, and felt a hand on his back. Marvel shot him a quick smile to ease Catos nerves.

"Ten seconds...nine...eight...seven..."

Cato took a deep breath as the men approached the door, the first, ready to jump.

"Three...two...one."

"GO GO GO! LINE ONE! OUT!"

The first man jumped into the wind, followed by the second then third. Cato hustled to keep up with the rest, until he was just in front of the door. "HADLEY! HUSTLE!" He took a deep breath as his feet left the metal of the plane and the wind took hold of his body.

Clove looked out the window and spotted the paratroopers open up their parachutes. She picked up her little sister, Lucy and brought her to the window.

"Look. The nasty Germans wouldn't be here much longer,"she whispered to her sister.

A few minutes ago the Nazis had left their house to go to the beach to man defenses. Clove, Mark and Lucy were slaves to the Nazis, their house was now their prison. They all slept in the basement and had waited for this day for years.
