Sorry

My first day back in Manila was a blur.

It was far from how I expected it to be.

Everything seems like a complete turnaround of events for me.

A night has passed.

And I can't believe that I really stayed over in this bizarre house.

I basically spent the night under the same roof with the same guy who caused my tears for years.

The same guy who used to keep me up all night. Just because of that dratted piece of picture. And that one loathsome night that caused all these. That particular incident that left me questioning my value and even doubting my worth.

Things are just escalating so quickly. The vast transition of things is making me feel uncomfortable. I just.. don't see this making sense.

Groans were all I can hear from the other line at first. Halatang naabala ko pa ang pagtulog niya.

"Yawa," paos na mura niya. "Siguraduhin mong importante 'to,"

I can't help but chuckle.

"Wala lang. Just checking if you're awake in this ungodly hour." pang-iinis ko.

I eventually asked.

If I didn't know him well, I'd probably think that he's really pissed.

I asked.

"Royalton," he simply said.

I nodded although he couldn't see.
