What?!? What am I supposed to say? Texting itself is hard and now this?

Your phone is showing a call. You took the call.

"Hey! It's me kuroo."

"HEY"

.
This is so weird. Both of you are not talking.

"Uhm. So are you coming for the 2nd day of the tournament?"

"I have something to be done. Play well so that I can come for  the day-3 match
I guess."

"Heh!?! So you are interested in seeing me? I'm amused."

"Huh? Then again I don't feel like it."

"You are coming next time (f/n)! No excuse! You promised!" shouted your friend.

You started to feel bad about it. Your friend goes to every single match but you didn't. It's not like you were sitting idle. You had to check for university. It was your dream to study in a different country and start to live independently.

"Your friend is really into Lev, huh. Ah, youth!"

"What is this old man talking about? She and you are the same age!"

You could hear him laughing at the other end.

The line went silent again. You are heart was pacing quickly for some reason.

I hate it when this happens.

"Uhm...My mom's calling... so catch u later?" You said with a confused voice

"Oh. Okay then. Uhmm bye,"
There was a lingering disappointment in his voice.

The call ended.

"Why did you lie to him? You finished your call with your mom just a few minutes ago!"

"I don't know, okay!!"
You started messing up your hair in frustration.

"You like him. Just admit it, you dumbass!"
